I normally can't ever get into a PR book and always end up getting confused and lost but R. Scarlett might have changed my mind. When Sinners Kneel was dark, edgy and captivating. The characters were easy to follow even within a complex world and the writing was fast paced but not confusing. Beau and Lex have a love/hate relationship and you feel it radiating off the pages. Their dynamic is what made me love the book so much and the difficult journey they both face, as individuals and together, was beautifully crafted. I need more!!

"Taste me," he hissed out. An order. A command. Soak in me, his soul sung to me. Drink me. Eat me. Consume me.
His dark eyes gleamed in the night, so soft and alluring it tugged at my heart. “I’ll spend the rest of my life sinning if it means I have you, you make this sinner want to kneel for you."
And Lex was drawn to his darkness... The anger, the bitterness, the wrath of Beau. I wanted the intensity. I wanted to feel the high of his emotions rushing through me. Feeding me. As incubus got high off of sexual energy, I got high off of people's emotions.
