This is my first time reading RC Boldt and MAN I’m so glad I did! This book was so much more than I was expecting. I was thinking fun and sexy friends to lovers sports romance, but the depth of this story and the characters was so well developed it completely captivated me. First off let me tell you, NICE GUYS DO EXIST! And boy oh boy, Dax Kendrick might be the most perfect ‘nice guy’ book boyfriend I’ve ever read. Secondly Darcy Cole is a freaking badass survivor! This book delves into some real life sh*t like multiracial dating and assault & harassment. But the real gems in this story are the relationships… they’re so genuine and heartfelt. I ABSOLUTELY cannot wait to meet and fangirl on RC at #Shameless19 in Orlando this year and I can’t wait to read more of her books!

This sense of safety is one I’ve never experienced. Because it’s delivered by a person who holds me in a way that makes me think his hard body could shelter me from the entire world.
