3pm–7pm – Attendee Pre-Registration; Author Registration

5pm–11pm – Books-A-Million Pop-Up Shop Book sales for Attendees (hours subject to change)

5:30pm–7pm – VIP Reception (VIP attendees receive 1 drink ticket and appetizers. Cash bar is available.) Authors are strongly encouraged to attend or drop by.

8am–5pm – Books-A-Million Pop-Up Shop Book sales for Attendees (hours subject to change)

11am–12pm – VIP Book Signing Universal Center open for VIP Attendees. This time is dedicated to VIP passholders to have early access to the Author signing.

12pm–5pm – Main Event Book Signing Universal Center open for all ticket holders. Click here for an updated list of attending authors.

6pm–7pm – Shameless Sparkler with 1001 Dark Nights Join the stars from 1001 Dark Nights as they sparkle at this interactive fan event. Mix and mingle with the brightest lights in the contemporary and paranormal genres while you learn their secrets and receive fabulous swag! (Free ticket required)

9pm–1am – After Party/Costume Ball (Paying attendees receive 1 drink ticket and light snacks. Cash bar is available.) Authors are strongly encouraged to attend the event. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

Tiffany will host a Q&A session, book signing (Tiffany is not attending Saturday’s Author Signing), readings from her books, and introducing us to never-before-shared details of her characters. Includes Continental Breakfast (available 9am-10:30am).

Can I buy tickets onsite?

We strongly recommend ordering your tickets beforehand through Eventbrite. Tickets will be available at the door ONLY if we have not reached our capacity limit.

Do you need my printed ticket to be admitted?

Please bring your printed ticket to pre-registration or to the events to expedite entry. If it’s not possible to have a printed ticket, we can scan your registration from your phone. Please have the code available for scanning at registration.

What can/can’t I bring to #SBC16?

Books to be Signed
Attending a book signing is an exciting event for everyone, especially those who are anxious to meet your favorite authors. To help all attendees get the most out of the event, we ask that you refrain from bringing pull-carts and/or luggage full of books. If you plan to have a truck-load of books signed, we suggest that you store the bulk of your books in your hotel room and trade them out part-way through the signing. Also, keep in mind that Books-A-Million will be on site selling traditionally published books, and Indie authors will have books available for sale at their tables, too.

Memory Makers
You’ll see a lot of readers carrying posters, picture frames, t-shirts, photo albums, and scrapbooks for authors to sign. All of these are welcome! Look for ideas on what to bring to have signed at #SBC16 on the Facebook Page as we get closer to the event.

What should I wear to the signing?

The first thing anyone who has ever been to a larger-scale author signing will tell you is that you should wear comfortable shoes! You will be doing a lot of standing and walking, so it’s not the best time to try out those new Manolos, sassypants. Save the cute shoes for the parties!

Many attendees and some authors will be showing off their allegiance to their favorite authors and book blogs with cute t-shirts! Wear yours without shame! Shameless Book Con will have shirts available to order this summer. The #SBC16 Facebook Page will have all the details when they become available.

Now’s the time to look fabulous! If you are attending the Friday night VIP Reception, we’d love to see your cute self in your new dress, your favorite LBD, or any cocktail-hour outfit.
Saturday night’s Costume Ball will be when you want to dress to IMPRESS! More details will come this summer, but know that we plan to get down and get dirty!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Shameless Book Con is an adult event and children are strongly discouraged from attending daytime events. No one under 18 will be allowed at any evening events. No one under 18 will be admitted for UnHoly Day with Tiffany Reisz.

Where should I stay while I’m in Orlando?

What are my transport options for getting to the event? And what about parking?

Although there is not a hotel shuttle available, Orlando offers many transportation options to get you from the airport to the hotel. We suggest setting up transportation prior to landing through Uber or Mears, or check out other options provided by the hotel. You can also ask a friend to pick you up since the hotel is only 20 minutes from Orlando Int’l Airport (MCO). (Just please don’t ask Angie to pick you up in her teeny tiny MINI. Plus, she’ll be super busy getting ready for your arrival!)

Parking will be available at the event at a discounted rate. More info will be available this summer.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Entry will be granted to whoever has the ticket in hand, regardless of the name on the ticket. The ticket is good for entry for one person and cannot be transferred after entry.

Is my registration/ticket refundable?

No. Tickets may not be returned for a refund, but you may give your ticket to another reader. We will not verify names at check in.

Can I update my registration information?

Eventbrite will allow you to update your information if you have set up an account when you purchased your tickets. If you have questions about your Eventbrite account, please contact Eventbrite.

At this time, we have as many volunteers as we need.

Will there be cover models at the signing? (added 1.27.16)

At this time, we don’t have cover models scheduled to attend.
