Recommendation

While no BBF will ever replace Beckett Daniels in my heart, Hawkin Play sure gave him a run for his money! This bad boy rocker fell hard for the first woman to tell him no, and Quinlan fell for the bad boy’s sweet side. Their chemistry was instant and white hot, and it exploded into one of the hottest sex scenes I’ve ever read. Seriously H-A-W-T!!! We get the feels, but nothing overly angsty. We get betrayal and misunderstandings. We get sexy banter and even sexier love scenes. It’s definitely a must-read for summer!

Excerpts

"I…I think it's important to make every moment count. Every friendship, every lover, every broken heart, ever decision, every everything – they all need to count for something or else they're pointless and when all is said and done and you look back at your life, you'll have regrets…..Regrets suck. Making it count lessens that for me"
The musician thing was never my heart button; I never understood the groupie thing but holy mother of God, watching and hearing Hawkin work through lyrics as the guitar riffs down the hall, I'm a converted woman. A very needy, horny converted woman. I'm with the band.
"Do you have any idea how bad I want you right now? I'm hard as a rock and it's taking everything I have to not lay you down on your bed and fuck you into oblivion," he says in a pained voice that only turns me on more knowing he's suffering as desperately as I am. "You deserve better than that, Quinlan, and fuck if it's not taking everything I have to give that to you….I've never wanted to be more selfish than I do right now."

Publisher synopsis

Hawkin Play, the bad boy rock star with a good guy heart, has lived a lifetime of cleaning up after his twin brother’s mistakes. Hunter’s most recent screwup could land Hawke in jail and risk the band’s future. Hawke agrees to guest lecture at a local college to stay in the judge’s good graces—and a bet with his bandmate to seduce his sexy teaching assistant is icing on the cake.

Quinlan Westin is harder to bed than Hawke imagined. She knows his type and is determined to avoid the rocker at all costs—even if their attraction runs deeper than simple lust.

Just as Hawke might finally be winning over the girl, his brother has other plans. When Hunter realizes his twin finally has a weakness, he’ll stop at nothing to take advantage….
