Recommendation
What a manipulative little tale this turned out to be! I was pleasantly overwhelmed with this book. So many emotions and twists, your head will be spinning. Alison & Jaxon ‘s story is a thrilling look into the mind of a psychopath and the joy he gets toying with his victim. The book opens with a powerful punch so if you tend to be a bit squeamish, this is your warning. Being a big fan of suspense and tension, I thoroughly enjoyed the way Alison struggled with remaining professional while dealing with her feelings for a madman. It is a complicated love affair, full of lust and violence and the fact that she is a virgin makes it incredibly hot.
Excerpts
I can feel it. It's more than the pale, watered-down emotions of my every day. It's a connection. I can tell -by the way he's looking at me, playing with me, and toying with me- he feels the same. He's never met anyone that can play the game by his rules before.
Time seems to have stopped. Everyone in the room is frozen. We're all sitting, watching Jaxon beat the fuck out of the guy. The sensation is powerfully erotic. My newly awakened lust is rushing to the obvious places – my nipples and my clit. I squirm uncomfortably, feeling the heat rising from between my legs.
Publisher synopsis
From the moment I see her, I'm obsessed.
Mad. Compelled. Determined to have her.
Alison. So innocent. So untested.
So easily broken. Her brilliant mind fascinates me.
No one deserves her. Not even me.
But that won't stop me. I'll make her mine.
They say I'm a sociopath. Deranged. Dangerous.
What they don't know is Alison is my salvation.
I'll get what I want from her.
Then unleash all my depravity.
Tie her to me forever.
Show her the darkness she tries to resist.
I may be a monster, but this mad love is my ultimate transgression.
Come into the darkness. Sin with me…
