Recommendation

Bolt by Angel Payne is a super fun, very hot read. It’s not your typical story about a girl falling in love with her boss, for reasons that only begin with the fact that her boss is a superhero! Reece’s dirty talking, alpha, sexy, demanding character is impossible not to fall in love with, and Emma’s determination to make it on her own is admirable. They are joined by a cast of supporting characters that will make you shake your head, laugh out loud, and want to smack them at times. The sexy times in this book are super hot, and the superhero twist is a genre that I was not previously familiar with, but that I found to be quite refreshing. I highly recommend this book!

Excerpts

She may be the one on her fifteenth climax, but I'm the fucker celebrating the biggest win of the night. I'm holding a gorgeous woman in my arms, watching her lose her shit because of me. I'm mindless, weightless, infinite… A feeling I never dreamed I'd know again.
"Fuck yourself on me." I husk it out with every ounce of the ruthless prick in me, satisfaction churning stronger when her lips part in raw desire. "Drive your cunt on me like an animal."
I'm already waiting to leap on him. To wrap myself around him. To mash my lips onto him and ram my tongue between his. To let all the juices in my core loosen those damn balls in my pussy, which roll and rub and pulse at me with a force I've been battling all night.

Publisher synopsis

Working the night shift at one of Downtown LA’s hottest hotels, Emmalina Crist has had her fair share of strange encounters—but none of them have prepared her for meeting Reece Richards, the charismatic bad boy of the Richards Resorts dynasty. Emma and Reece share an experience unlike anything they could have imagined, leaving Reece enraptured and Emma weighing the consequences of this supercharged night of passion with her boss.

But Emma learns fighting the flames only fans them, as Reece saves her life and is compelled to reveal his true identity as Bolt, the city’s superhero savior. She’s always wanted more than just a typical relationship, but falling in love with the man behind the mask is one electrifying ride. Defining their relationship is no easy task—particularly while they’re being subjected to the media’s spotlight, their families’ intrusions, and racing to stay one step ahead of the fringe scientists who want to get Reece back on their lab table.

Emma is helpless to resist Reece’s passion and power. He’s bolted her heart and soul forever. But can she reach beyond the normal expectations of reality, and even herself, to fight for the one ultimate superpower—true love?
