Recommendation

Harloe Rae knows how to write a fun, down and dirty book! Trey & Raven’s journey has its fair share of ups & downs. He hides behind a self made wall of grief and anger and she sees right through it, hammering at the wall one emotional brick at a time. I loved how rough around the edges he was. Everything about him was dirty. His job. His mouth. The way he had sex! And Raven just throws it all right back at him. She is feisty and sassy and knows exactly how to break through his cold exterior. Their dynamic is engaging and I loved seeing their story develop. A very easy, fun book that really shows that sometimes enemies DO make the best lovers!

Excerpts

I want all the fluff and mush. With you, only and always. No one gets this from me except you,” I whisper. “I’ll never share this part of me with another person. Just you, Raven.
"I feel you everywhere. Please keep going. Don’t stop. Ever,” she pleads on a gasp.
“I won’t, Princess. My dick is gonna be stamped here forever. You’ll be feeling me for months,” I say through gritted teeth.
“You’re filthy,” I murmur against her parted lips.
Her tongue peeks out, almost licking me. “You’ve made me this way.”

Publisher synopsis

Raven Elliot blasts into town like a wrecking ball—striking and devastating.
With a few simple words, my reliable routine crumbles to dust.

“Is this seat taken?”

I could close my eyes and let her voice wrap around me like a lover’s caress.
But this isn’t that type of story.
And I’m sure as hell not that kind of man.

She hovers in my space, batting her lashes and smiling shyly.
The glimmer in her sapphire eyes is a promise of peace.
But I’m not falling for it.
And Raven doesn't take the hint.

What starts as a battle of wills, explodes into a turf war.
She stands directly in my path everywhere I turn.
No matter how hard I shove, she won’t budge.
Raven seems dead set on driving me insane.
But I was here first.
And I’m not going down easy.

After all, no one ever taught me how to treat a lady.
