Recommendation
I am concerned that I am developing an unhealthy obsession with Eve Langlais. I am putting everything she has ever written onto my to-be-read list, and I am going to start stalking all of her new releases. Dreams of Darkness is completely entrancing, and I simply couldn’t put it down. If you are familiar with Eve’s other books, this one is significantly darker and less humorous, and she left me with a horrible case of unresolved sexual tension-itis, but I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything in the world. The next book in this series simply cannot come out soon enough for me!!! Read this one today, and you will not be disappointed!!!
Excerpts
While the dog might have gotten a paw up on him, Titus wasn't about to throw in his cravat. There was something damned tempting about Adara. Something that drew him and made him want to act in ways he'd never imagined.
His hands came to rest on her waist and drew her up to him. She trembled as she gazed up into his face. His green eyes blazed, and her breathing hitched at the wild passion she read in them. He pulled her against him, and his hard lips found hers.
Publisher synopsis
Warning: This dark urban fantasy contains scenes of violence. Reader discretion is advised. Waking with horrific injuries in a hospital, Adara can’t recall her past. Who is she? And more importantly what is she? Her only hints come during her nightmares. Dark dreams that are forgotten when she wakes. Having amnesia doesn’t stop danger from stalking her. She attracts the attention of a werewolf and a vampire. As events spiral out of control she wonders if she’s losing her mind. Magic and supernatural beings can’t exist. Her mind says ‘Forget.’ But she wants to remember. However, if she does, will the truth shatter her?
