Recommendation

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Kat and Chase are so wonderfully screwed up that I couldn’t help but cheer them on as they worked to get their crap together, and cry with them when they messed up several times along the way. The ups and downs in this story made it impossible to put down. I laughed with them; I ugly cried with them. And their chemistry makes this a one handed read like I haven’t read in a long time. There is some angry sex in this book that set me on fire!!! You really need to put this one on your list, ASAP!!!

Excerpts

"You can undress, or I can tear the clothes right off your body. Your choice." He purses his lips, lifting his pierced brow. "It'd be a shame to shred those little red shorts you love so much."
I fuck her ruthlessly into the mattress, wetting my dick with sultry slickness. My heart is coal, and Kat is the match. Her heated plea dips across us like lighter fluid, igniting passions long forgotten. I go harder and deeper, aching for that perfect moment when her body locks around mine, and we both go down in flames.
Chase and I go hard at each other like we're going to war. We fight and fuck and curse and bite, leaving our hearts at the door. This is sex for survival.

Publisher synopsis

I'm a bad guy.

I've lied, I've cheated, I've stolen.
Cold. Hard. Calculating … I lived on the edge of chaos, and it almost cost me everything.

The last thing I need is a girl like me.
Gorgeous. Broody. Sexy as sin … Kat sauntered into my life, with her Coke-bottle curves and Devil-may-care attitude and turned my quiet life upside down.

Getting this close is a bad idea, but like a true addict, I just can't seem to help myself.

I couldn't say no, even if I wanted to.

I thought helping her could absolve the sins of my past, but her salvation could be my ruin.
