Recommendation
Eagle Elite is one of my favorite series. Hands down. There are a lot of books in the series and you definitely have to start at the beginning to keep up with this crazy mafia family tree. One of the things that I LOVE about the 1001 Dark Nights novellas is that you can get a glimpse into an established series even if you haven’t read the other books. Envy gives you that glimpse inside of the family as the Assassin falls for the Nanny. But in true Eagle Elite style, not everything or everyone is what they seem. Envy is a little scary, pretty hilarious and A LOT sexy. You’ll fall instantly in love with these dark, broken, scary men and the sassy, badass women who love them. #BloodInNoOut
Excerpts
"I think your taste is the only thing that could both save a sinner – and cause more sin."
"It's not a fetish to want to watch you come apart because of my mouth, because of my hands. It's not a fetish when a murderer wants to see what it looks like to create life – rather than death." His eyes locked onto mine with such intensity I couldn't breathe. "I see life in your eyes when I touch you."
"I don't want stolen moments with you anymore. I want slow…I want your body sweaty in my hands while I make love to you – I want to drive you crazy with my tongue, to make you wild with each touch."
Publisher synopsis
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken comes a new story in her Eagle Elite series…
Every family has rules, the mafia just has more….
Do not speak to the bosses unless spoken to.
Do not make eye contact unless you want to die.
And above all else, do not fall in love.
Renee Cassani's future is set.
Her betrothal is set.
Her life, after nannying for the five families for the summer, is set
Somebody should have told Vic Colezan that.
He's a man who doesn't take no for an answer.
And he only wants one thing.
Her.
Somebody should have told Renee that her bodyguard needed as much discipline as the kids she was nannying.
Good thing Vic has a firm hand.
