Recommendation

Yet another beautiful story by Kate Stewart! Two broken people, escaping reality in a magical place, drawn together, forced to feel, compelled to let go and heal by developing a love neither of them wanted but neither can deny. This book had all the angst, heartache, palatable chemistry, inspiration and kismet love that I live for reading romance. Not to mention, every time I read a story with ASL I feel inspired to learn it myself. A fantastic soul filled summer read!

Excerpts

Kissing you feels like a free fall, touching you makes me ache, and being inside you is so damn addicting.
Be simple and do whatever the hell it is you have to do to make yourself happy.
Sometimes what's meant to be isn't written in the stars, instead, it's a journey on the path less traveled without a map of guidance, without certainty.

Publisher synopsis

The first time I met Ian Kemp in the sparkling blue waters of St. Thomas, I was six years old and we shared a summer beneath the stars.

The second time I met Ian Kemp, he was a shell of the boy I once knew. Turbulent and infuriating, he refused my friendship at every turn. Like me, he was a casualty of life’s cruelty, but we were planets apart.

We’d both sought refuge on the island, hoping to find our anchor. Instead, we found each other and managed to reclaim our stars…until we both got swept away.
