Recommendation

There are very few authors I’ll go dark for…T.M. Frazier is one of them. There’s even fewer authors that I’ll go cliffy for, that being said.. CLIFFY CLIFFY CLIFFY CLIFFY CLIFFY!!! Now that I got that out of the way, wow. This book is painted in a dystopian society where only the strong and twisted survive. This dark spin on a classic Romeo and Juliet scenario, takes you through the history of 2 young survivors, shrouded by darkness, cursed by consequence, destined for violence, but ultimately touched by a serendipitous connection that they just can’t deny. It’s gritty, it’s criminal and it’s utterly delicious! Now give me book 2 damn it!!!

T.M. Fraizer is one of the very few authors I read without even thinking twice about. She never disappoints where a dark story line is concerned and she knows all the right ways to break your heart, but leave you begging for more. Tristan and Emma’s story makes you feel every emotion there is. They were drawn together at such a young age and that undeniable connection cannot be lost. The world around them in a sick and twisted one and the hardships thrown their way prove to be difficult. My heart broke for Emma and her struggles but Tristan’s bond to her was such a positive force. DEAR GOD THE ENDING! I love to hate a good cliffhanger and my head almost exploded! Looks like this will be another series I adore by T.M.!

Excerpts

“How do you spell love? You don’t spell it. You feel it.”
“And when we were angry with each other, it’s like that connection made the anger so much worse. So much more hurtful. It’s like I can feel his pain along with my own.”
“I’m a woman, baby. There’s more to us than any man will ever begin to understand.”

Publisher synopsis

USA Today bestselling author of the King Series, T.M. Frazier, brings you an all-new trilogy with an anti-hero you're going to love to hate and a ballsy heroine with more than just tricks up her sleeve.

Love is supposed to be magical.
Ours is suicide.

The first time I met Emma Jean Parish she conned me into taking her p*ssy.
Her cat.

When she was sixteen she conned me into her first kiss.
At eighteen she gave me everything.

She’s a con artist.
I’m a criminal.

I use her.
She manipulates me.

Our attraction is explosive.
What we have can be forever.

IF we survive the detonation.
