Recommendation
Nothing like having the guy you’ve secretly fantasized about trip over you in one awkward meet-cute. You feel so bad for Raleigh as she tries to navigate around her crush finally seeing her as the woman of his dreams, tripping over herself and causing a little bit of mayhem in everyone’s lives. Lani Lynn Vale knows how to inject the right amount of humor into her romances to help tone down the angst and potential heartache between the hero and heroine. This is one of the reasons I keep coming back to her stories, plus her writing is unique and half the time the blurb only gives you hints of what the true story is about.
Excerpts
I wanted her on her back on the bed, her hands free to pull and tug on my hair when my mouth was doing things between her thighs.
The way her face turned euphoric when she was at the pinnacle of her orgasm drew me in. But it was the way she smiled at me afterward that made me want to stay that way forever.
Publisher synopsis
He is the one that never looks her way.
He is handsome and strong.
He is rough around the edges and mean.
He is everything she’s ever wanted.
He doesn’t even know she exists.
Her life is a joke.
***
She doesn’t step on cracks in the sidewalk.
She laughs at inappropriate times.
She talks when she shouldn’t.
She is clumsy and trips on air.
She is finally on his radar.
God help her now.
