Recommendation

I read the description of this story and knew right away I needed to give this author a go! Tory Baker told an incredibly hot little tale about Rome and Summer from beginning to end. It is based on a quick connection after a chance meeting and it turns into a flurry of flirting and foreplay. Sometimes with insta-love, things seem forced or really fake in a book but their dynamic came across very natural and authentic. I liked that there was minimal drama, great humor and some real steamy moments!

Excerpts

“Fuck,” I murmur out as we take a breath.
“Yes, please,” Summer’s voice has taken on a husky quality. One I want, but not here.
“God damn, look at you. You’re wet and so swollen, baby. I want my mouth on your sweet pussy” he takes his time as his finger glides along the outside of my center, toying with me.
“More, please more,” I engulf her pussy with my mouth and feast on her. Once I have her writhing more than ever before, I plunge two fingers inside her, finding her g-spot. I work her until she’s screaming my name and coming.

Publisher synopsis

Forced to attend a black tie event, Rome Carter never thought he’d meet the woman who would shake the foundation of his world. The minute he saw Summer Jones standing there, however, that’s exactly what happened.

Summer never fit into the mold her family wanted to put her in and because of that, she forged her own life, tired of feeling as if she didn’t belong.

When her father calls for a last minute favor, she reluctantly agrees. Strong, safe and devastatingly handsome, Rome Carter instantly makes Summer feel as if she fits somewhere for the first time—with him.

Tory is back again! If you like over the top alphas, sweet, innocent heroines, happily ever afters, and a story that is hot and satisfying, then you’re definitely in the right place.
