Recommendation
Blake Blessing, I truly have NO words. Fractured shook me to my core. It is a perfect combination of erotica and suspense. My mind is still trying to wrap itself around the ending / cliffhanger. First, I LOVED all the guys. Saint, Ambrose, Atticus and Kenzo each had their own personality and special place in Lilith’s f*cked up, guarded heart. I honestly swooned over each one of them throughout the story for different reasons. Lilith consumed me though. Everything about her was complex and engaging. Her struggles felt so real and soul crushing. Her need to feel SOMETHING was overwhelming and at times I felt myself getting lost in the way she used sex and affection as a mind numbing distraction. Like a band-aid on a dam about to burst. You know it is a temporary fix and you’re just holding your breath waiting for the inevitable explosion. But, the true MAIN character in this story is mental illness. It is at the beginning and end of every page and every chapter. It takes hold and doesn’t let go. No matter how many times Lilith tried to outrun it, ignore it, or drown it out with 1 or 4 men… it was there. I not only loved the first part of this duet because of how well-written the story and characters were, but also because of how unique it ALL is. Honestly, read this book. 5 stars ★★★★★ isn’t enough.
Excerpts
I wasn’t a bombshell or a skinny model type. I had a few extra pounds in the right places and decent bust and ass. But under his gaze, I was a goddess.
The kiss was everything, and I greedily took as much as he was willing to give. Winding my legs around his waist, I clutched him so tight, he was fused to me for as long as I could hold him.
“All in the effort of convenience,” Ambrose said as he poured lube onto Atticus’ dick and spread it with a few pumps of his hand. Atticus moaned in my ear, and I echoed him. It was the hottest thing I’d ever seen.
Publisher synopsis
I’m not crazy.
I’m the product of a schizophrenic mother who seemed more evil than human, and a bipolar father who didn’t love me enough to stay.
But I’m not crazy.
Now I’m struggling with life and question myself and my decisions every single day. Are these signs? Red flags? I won’t let myself look too close.
I refuse to be crazy.
Then four men swoop in just when I need them. They’re protective, supportive, and everything I never had even though we’re unconventional. I want to be the person they need me to be. I need it.
But I’m afraid…that I’m crazy.
