Recommendation
Captive reads are one of my favorites (we all know I like my books disturbing) and Don’t Say A Word delivers on all accounts. I loved how descriptive the author gets, creating a world you become fully immersed in. Sabre Rose makes a captive plot sinfully sexy! Mia’s character was completely believable, her actions & thoughts really pulled you into the story and connected you to her. Even though she is forced into the situation, she slowly gives in to her own carnal needs and wants and it gets pretty hot. There is a strong plot here as well and I loved where it left off. Cannot wait for the next book in the series!
Excerpts
You are here to be trained. You are here to learn obedience. You no longer belong to yourself. This is your future. This is your home. Obey me and your punishments will be minimal. Disobey and you will learn the consequences.
He groans, and it undoes me. It creeps up so quickly I am unable to stop it and I come quickly, pulsing against him, my hands unwillingly grabbing fistfuls of his hair as a wave of pleasure turns me to dust.
I get to my knees, hands in lap, eyes on the ground. I don't want to look at him. I can't look at him. When I do, there are too many mixed emotions. Shame. Fear. Disgust.
Longing.
Publisher synopsis
Kneel. Submit. Obey.
I have been taken by a man unknown to me.
But he is not the one who holds me captive.
Not whose voice commands me.
Not who watches me with a storm raging in ocean-blue eyes.
It is my captor who knows every inch of my body.
Who trains me for another man to ruin.
But I am not his.
I belong to my requestor.
Whoever he is . . .
