Ryan Pelt is a bit of mystery and Carrie can see not only does he have cinder block walls for an emotional barrier but he covered the whole area with barbed wire. Fortunately for her, Ryan is kind of a d**k so she had been able to talk down the hormones from an, “I am woman hear me roar.”, to a kitten who purrs for little attention. Even though she knows all of this about him, a small secret part of her wishes he would throw her on a desk and make her scream out his name.
But even some of the best laid plans can hit a snag. Her snag just happened to be six feet tall with dark hair and the dreamiest bedroom eyes.
A short and sweet story that is full of humor and sexiness. This is the perfect “in between” read when you are having an emotional hangover from a book.
