Recommendation

Ker Dukey can do no wrong in my eyes. She is one of my “whatever she writes I will read it” authors and rightfully so! The story of Alec and Drew paints a dirty picture of a violent MC world where loyalty is tested and boundaries are pushed. Drew stole Alec’s heart when they were just kids- “You belong by my side, on the back of my bike, in my bed. We are it for each other—always have been, always will be” – and though their love is tested many times because of the Royal Bastards MC, they find each other in one another’s arms again and again. I really loved the whole world Ker created and the characters. Alec and Drew are a true testament to love knowing no bounds and together they have a connection that is timeless and endless.

Excerpts

I'm mad about this girl and crave her like a drug.
“I could have a million women, but none of them are you, Drew.” I nip her lips. “You’re irreplaceable. Been missing you, baby. You’re inescapable, and being with you again is inevitable. I refuse for it to be any other fucking way, so you better get used to it.” I lean my forehead against hers and breathe her in before I kiss the tip of her nose “I won’t let you run again. I can’t. I won’t survive it. You can’t see it, but it’s there, our souls—they thrive when we’re together. We need each other.” And then I leave her to soak in the fact that she’s back for good.
I’ll never get that image of you taking your dress off out of my head. You replace the bad ones. You’re the light in the haze of darkness consuming me.

Publisher synopsis

Alec “The Animal” Walker
My best friend and I were inseparable as kids. That childhood bond turned to puppy love, and then pure, burning lust.
We were biker brats, teenage misfits who only had eyes and hands for each other.
But all that changed when our club found out her dad was a rat—an FBI informant trying to take down our empire.
He betrayed his club.
He betrayed his brothers.
He betrayed her.
He betrayed us.
To tarnish the brotherhood legacy with such disloyalty and dishonor comes with swift retribution.
Now, I’m forced to make a choice: my girl or my club.
This will destroy her.
Destroy us.
In order to earn my patch, I have to take a traitor’s life—his.

A dark, delicious, thrill ride, sure to have you turning the pages, desperate to see how it all ends.
