Recommendation
This time it’s the good guy falling for the bad girl! Simon, the ex-pilot-future-politian falls immediately for Charlie, the tatted-up-badass-hiding-big-secrets. He pursues, she runs. She wants one night, he wants more. This goes on and on until she decides to stop running, then all hell breaks loose. The story takes a weird turn for a bit, but it’s definitely a good book for when you’re looking for something sweet to read on a lazy weekend.
Excerpts
"What you don't seem to get, is that even then, I was playing the long game. I knew you were something special, and I wasn't going to take the chance that I'd only get a taste. I knew that once I did, I'd be addicted."
Publisher synopsis
Former Navy fighter pilot. Son of a congressman. Successful businessman in my own right. With a résumé like mine, women have never been a challenge.
Until I met her.
This sexy, tatted-up bad girl wasn’t part of my plans, but that punch to my gut every time I see her tells me I have to know more.
She’s a mystery. An enigma. A challenge.
I’m going to figure her out—and then I’m going to make her mine.
We’ll find out what she’s hiding . . . beneath this mask.
