He challenged her sanity.

She shattered his reality.

They dared each other…to the brink of madness.

A dark and twisted maze awaits criminal psychologist London Noble when she falls for her patient, convicted serial killer, Grayson Pierce Sullivan. As she unravels the traps, her sanity tested with each game, she's forced to acknowledge the true evil in the world around her.

*Trigger warning: confined spaces. Serial killers.

What a thrilling take on the classic “cat & mouse” chase! I kept second guessing through out the story who was chasing who. I LOVE suspense mixed with my smut and man o’ man does Trisha deliver on every level! London and Grayson both have very dark, traumatic pasts. Their stories flow seamlessly, weaving together twisted layer after twisted layer. I enjoy how Trisha makes you sympathize with even the most sinister of characters. The scenes are vivid, both sexual and non sexual. Details get gruesome at points, so for anyone who doesn’t enjoy a “darker” shade of erotica, this one is not for you. I caught myself holding my breath while reading certain chapters and the complexity of the story kept me on edge until the very end. Seriously intense doesn’t even begin to describe it. It is like Silence of the Lambs and Bonnie & Clyde had a baby! If twisted & dark is your thing, this is a must read!

A taste

His smile stretches, meeting his cool blue eyes. "Inappropriate? I hardly think that expresses it. It was fucking shattering. You want romance, go find yourself a nice little do-boy. But you don't want that— I tasted what you crave. I can feel it in you now. That dark obsession that twists you, makes you mine.
Ours is not a love story— we're too volatile, too explosive for monotony. No, our story comes with a warning. Beware.
I release the breath I've been holding, and Grayson's sharp intake, as if he's stealing it for himself, sparks a primal thrill within me.
