Two years ago, Billie Tarrow's husband left her for another woman. Shamed and divorced, Billie retreated to her family home in Port Townsend, far from her old life in New York. After a near-death encounter, Billie decides to return to the city that took everything from her.
But sometimes in the midst of heartache, hope suffocates the pain.
Satcher Gable has carried a torch for Billie for ten years. When she suddenly returns to New York a single woman, he can't believe his good fortune. But convincing her to walk away from her heartache is proving more difficult than Satcher anticipated. A changed woman, Billie's only goal is revenge.
Welp… what can I say, I’m pretty sure if Tarryn named every one of her books F-something from here on out, it would be completely appropriate. Why? Because she writes the most agnsty F’d up books of all time, LOL! Not only are the characters F’d up, but these love pentagons she puts them in are messy AF as well. I mean, how does she even come up with this stuff? She’s a villain I tell you, but if you’ve read any of her other books this is not a surprise, not even a little. That being said, she’s a F’ing evil genius and I F-Love reading her words… even if they give me indigestion Amazingly enough, this book has an HEA, kinda. The bonus is you will feel more sane after reading it. So, if you’re ready for an emotional roller coaster, F*ck Marriage is for you. #PLN4LIFE
A taste
Marriage as a whole is uncomfortable. Two people from two different worlds trying to stuff all of their emotional belongings into one joined life.
We aren't meant to stay the same. Life hits us from every direction, and we build thick skin in those places… calluses. It's the way we survive.
Our intentions represented our depravity, while our actual behavior showed who we chose to be.
