Recommendation
I first fell in love with Birdie as Jason’s awkward teenage sister is Runaway Girl. She’s feisty and lives her life in honor of her twin sister who died suddenly when they were teenagers. Birdie is now in college, doing things college kids do. That includes hooking up with a hot football player at a party. Their connection and chemistry is instant and things get real hot real quick. Leave it to Tessa Bailey to pack in some serious sexiness in 70 pages. This sweet and steamy romance is the perfect compliment to the Getaway Girl Series.
Excerpts
"Friends don't fuck in public during a rainstorm?" I punch my hips up once. Twice. "That's too bad. I guess we'll have to stop being friends while I sink in and out of your pussy."
"You told me you felt something in the kitchen. The night we met." I kiss her softly, rubbing our tongues together. "That was me handing you my heart. You felt the weight of it. You knew. Give me yours now."
Publisher synopsis
The team’s resident linebacker, Jerimiah, has gotten used to making people uncomfortable. He’s huge, intimidating and doesn’t have a lot to say. Until he meets Birdie. Now he can’t seem to stop talking, if only so she’ll say more. And stay a little bit longer. To be fair, she doesn’t really have a choice, since they just got locked in the basement together at a frat party…
