What do you do when the devil has you in his sights?

You show him that you can play his game.

Austin Lowes is new to town. She's running from a mom who hates her to her dad who cares nothing about her. Only a few months and she will be free, or at least, that's what she hopes … until she meets him.

Cole Reynolds is the devil disguised as a man. He wants her fear, he wants her blood, and he wants her soul.

Just a little game, he says, I dare you.

Will Austin survive him, or will she lose herself and the game?

Secrets are revealed and justice will be served, but at what cost?

Who survives and who doesn't?

You don’t normally find a YA book that jumps into the darker end of the romance pool but I Dare You held its own for the most part. Austin and Cole had super intense moments together and at certain points I forgot I was reading about teenagers! Even though she was the new kid on the block, Austin held her own against Cole and his crew and reading her feisty banter and sass kept putting a smile on my face. That girl kicks ass! Cole did not know what hit him when she came into town. I love the cat and mouse chase between them and how the tension builds and builds and builds. I wished the ending was a bit more drawn out but overall, an explosive tale about young, obsessive passion and the craziness it creates for anyone it its path.

A taste

Since I first laid eyes on Austin Lowes, I’ve wanted to control her. Own her. Hurt her.
"Are you a virgin, Austin?"
"No."I growl.
"That's a shame" he sighs. "I like to take pretty, innocent things and destroy them."
"I wanna make you a beautiful, broken doll"
"All mine to play with."
"All mine to fuck"
"All mine to destroy"
