One touch is all it takes. One touch, and Juliette Ferrars can leave a fully grown man gasping for air. One touch, and she can kill.
No one knows why Juliette has such incredible power. It feels like a curse, a burden that one person alone could never bear. But The Reestablishment sees it as a gift, sees her as an opportunity. An opportunity for a deadly weapon.
Juliette has never fought for herself before. But when she’s reunited with the one person who ever cared about her, she finds a strength she never knew she had.
This book! I’m usually pretty happy when I’m reading books that have a decent plot and a high dose of sex, and this book sucked me in hard from the first paragraph. I was amazed by the depth of this phenomenal story. So many emotions, such a cacophony of sounds and sights and trauma. Fantastic characters, brilliant writing. The scenes in this YA tale may not be as explicit as my normal romance novel tastes, but man are they hot and filled with chemistry. I truly loved this book and can’t wait to read the next in the series. PS – #villainlove
A taste
Adam’s arms wrap around me until he’s tugged me up and I’m wobbling on my legs and we’re both standing upright. He steps into the shower and slides the door shut behind him. I gasp. He holds me up against the wall and I see nothing but his white T-shirt soaked through, nothing but the water dancing down his face, nothing but his eyes full of a world I’m dying to be a part of.
He pulls me closer, whispers my name, drops kisses down my throat and struggles with the stiff fabric of my dress. His hands are shaking so slightly, his eyes brimming with feeling, his heart thrumming with pain and affection and I want to live here, in his arms, in his eyes for the rest of my life.
