Vows.

Savio lives by them.

Dreams.

I exist in them.

Obsessed with a picture, I'm in Rome to get over writer’s block, but more importantly, I've come to the Eternal City to find someone.

Savio is a broken soul. A French-Italian priest in the capital of the Catholic world, he preaches religious tenets he no longer believes in.

He’s also the man I'm looking for.

A priest who makes sinners pay.

Who makes them burn for the temptations into which they fall.

I exist to tempt him, my sole purpose is to save him, and my end goal is Savio—in my bed. My heart. My life.

He's a fallen soul, desperately in need of a future that takes him away from the sinners who deserve to lose their lives for the evil they reap.

Can I make him break his vows, make him fall to save both our souls before the Devil can embrace us both?

Find out in THE VOWS WE BREAK.

Trigger warning?
YES.
Sensitive readers… this isn't for you. :*

I went into this book blind. I’ve never read the authors before and only read the words “a priest who makes sinners pay” before making the decision that this was a must read for me. I am so happy I took the chance. This story was unlike anything I’ve read before. First- there are warnings for a reason – this book is disturbing at times. As I was raised Catholic, the thought of a priest who would break his vows to avenge God in any way is quite taboo, not to mention sinful. I had no idea how sexy that idea could be though! Savio Martin is the epitome of a broken man, trying to run from a traumatic past but he channels that into the only thing he feels can truly redeem him. Andrea is drawn to him, believing she has also been called by God to help his children and in doing so, she becomes infatuated with Savio. The two together are beyond intense. It is hard to tell where insanity begins and ends. What is the purpose of their meeting and actions? The character development is so intricate and detailed. It enables you to see past the label of a priest to the human connection and emotion inside. The blurred lines of lust become just that… blurred. A true testament to great writers.

A taste

“Savio,” I whisper softly, to no one in particular, to the air, to fate, to my destiny and his which are on the brink of crossing. “I need you.” And I let my fingers do the talking, let them take me higher as I rub my clit until I clap my hand to my face and moan into the ball of my fist as I come.
My fingers tighten around the knotted handle, and a sweet serenity slithers inside me as, with a flick of a practiced wrist, I let it fly.
The pain is excruciating.
The pain is delightful as the barbs take hold and tear at my flesh.
She’s beautiful.
Those tears are beautiful, and I want to taste them because they’re mine.
They fell for me.
