Recommendation

I’m a HUGE Daisy Prescott fan…HUGE! When I read Tinfoil Heart at I first thought to myself, well this is a different kind of story than I’m used to from Daisy, but then as I kept reflecting I thought, NO it’s actually really not! Same quirky lovable characters, same interesting and unique story line, same wonderfully descriptive scene setting where you can completely see in your mind’s eye what Roswell looks and feels like to these characters and the same brilliant and seamless writing you’d expect from her! This is a fantastic story about feeling lost, looking for answers, letting go and ultimately finding something better than the truth that you seek. Don’t let the little green men deter you, read this and you’ll ‘believe’ that love and friendship can bloom, even in the kookiest places. OH and the choice of ‘believers’ or ‘skeptics’ Epilogues was EPIC!!!

Excerpts

“We’re naked and about to have sex, I hope, but we’re also having a conversation. Should we talk first? I’m not sure how good I am at multi-tasking.”
“Millions of people believe we’re not alone in the galaxies that make up the universe. We’re all energy, made up of the same material that exists in the stars. You contain the same stardust as I do.”
“You don’t need your beliefs to be validated for them to be real. Faith doesn’t operate on tangibles.”

Publisher synopsis

A new romantic comedy about love, letting go, and little green men from USA Today Bestselling author Daisy Prescott.

My father was abducted by aliens.

Or so I believed for the last eighteen years.

After my mother's death, I moved to Roswell, capital of all things alien. I’m going to find out the truth and nothing will stop me . . . except Boone Santos.

Compared to the intergalactic tinfoil hat brigade, he's a god amongst mere mortals. Too handsome for his own good (and mine), with a grumpy arrogance, and the most beautiful smile ever—he smashes my plan to pieces like a UFO crashing into the desert.

I need a tinfoil hat for my heart.

Do I believe in aliens? I’m not sure.

What do I believe? I’m not going to fall in love with Boone. Definitely not . . .
