Recommendation
After Connected ended in one of the most intense cliffhangers ever, I was jonesing to get my grubby hands on Torn to find out what the hell was going to happen with these characters. We get our resolution in Torn, and of course, it doesn’t come easy. There are tears, sex, and so many feelings—that’s just from me. Though I personally think Torn could have been wrapped up into a shorter story and another one started in the book, I’m satisfied with the resolution of the main character’s stories. There will be more books in the Connected series, but they will focus on other characters we met in Connected and Torn. I’ll definitely check those out when they’re released. [October 2013]
