Recommendation
I thought I knew what to expect going into this book because I’ve read (and loved) Unconventional & Untouchable by Isabel, but this book was something entirely different. It was slow paced which worked perfectly in building Wes and Anna’s relationship. It was so raw in human emotion that it kept me glued to the words on each & every page. It is a story about heartbreak and redemption, passion and lust. A second chance love story that showed just how far two people will go for the one they love. I felt like I was watching Wes & Anna make mistakes, adapt, find themselves and grow and it really made them relate-able. I loved how much Wes adored Anna, even when they were younger. She was his from the start and it gave me all the feels! What an emotionally satisfying book!
Excerpts
Then, kisses aren't enough, so I bite her, pulling her lower lip in between my teeth, biting where her shoulder meets her neck, and then her earlobe. Little nips and tugs to get as much of her inside my mouth as I can.
Anna loves it. her moans escalate into screams as I pound into her. "That's it. Scream for me, Angel. Let me hear you."
Our story isn’t simple. Our past is riddled with pain and mistakes. But it brought us to each other.
Publisher synopsis
There are certain things that are unforgivable…
Falling for your brother’s best friend is one of them.
That isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever done, though.
Not even close.
Shame and guilt follow me everywhere.
Except when I’m with him.
With him, I can breathe again.
Smile again. Love again.
But he doesn't know what I've done…
