Bless me Father for I have sinned… and I LOVED every second of it! Clarissa Wild never really disappoints me so when I started seeing teasers for this book, I was over the top excited! Her warnings are never to be taken lightly so if you are easily offended, do not read. Father is exactly what she promises, a raunchy, taboo themed story about a Preacher who has lost his way. Father Frank & Laura walk a very scandalous line and with the way Clarissa writes, you will be needing a dip in holy water by the time you’re done. The sexual chemistry between them was absolutely scorching hot and oh so dirty. Looking for something… scandalous? #1click & take yourself to church!

Too Hard to Forget by Tessa Bailey
Tessa Bailey’s prose and story telling reach new levels of greatness with Too Hard to Forget. Peggy and Elliott’s story is a PERFECT second chance romance. The Clarkson family’s tales are becoming deeper with every volume. ~ Nelle
Nelle said it, Peggy and Elliot’s story is a perfect second chance romance. PERFECT! Peggy’s F*** YOU attitude towards Elliott is fantastic, and once Elliot gets his head out of his ass, his must-win attitude is endearing. Bonus….the intense, angry sex in this book will have you saying a few Our Fathers. Hands down, this is my favorite Tessa Bailey book. ~Adrian -
Ride Rough by Laura Kaye
Alexa and Maverick have a rough ride in Ride Rough. Laura Kaye brings us this compelling second chance romance. The lost lovers have a very hard road but Laura Kaye gives us a great payoff! ~ Nelle [April 2017]
-
Twist by Kylie Scott
I loved the twist in Twist. Leave it up to Kylie Scott to bring us a fun new premise. Joe and Alex have an unconventional road, but that’s what makes it so compelling. ~ Nelle [April 2017]

Where Good Girls Go to Die by Holly Renee
I could not put this book down! Parker and Liv are failed high school sweethearts with a second shot at romance a few years later. And my oh my, what a HOT romance it is! Parker is a sexy, tattooed alpha male and Liv is a bad ass, independent female. I love their chemistry and how perfect they play off of each other. Holly Renee gives a little angst, a little humor and a lot of passion.

The Player by K. Bromberg
Another home run from K. Bromberg! I absolutely fell in love with Scout and Easton. He’s the golden boy and she the spunky spitfire there to get him back on top of his game. Their chemistry is off the charts and I love the way she fights the attraction that he keeps shoving in her face. And this book just might have the HOTTEST sex scene ever. Trip to the batting cage, anyone?

Out of Her League by Jennifer Dawson
I loved these 2 characters. They felt so original to me. Tessa felt, I’m sure like a lot of us, that she wasn’t pretty/sexy/thin enough to get this tall, dark, and handsome god. Jennifer did a great job showing how Xavier slowly starts to see Tessa as more than an acquaintance and into this woman he can’t stop thinking about. It’s almost like a slow burn for the relationship/falling in love part, but boy is NOT a slow burn for the sex. Their first scene together was so good, and I loved how Tessa came out of her shell and showed Xavier how uninhibited she could be over the course of their non-relationship. They just started spending all their time together and don’t realize they’re falling in love. And the climatic love declaring… there may have been tears. ~ Marissa [5/5 stars]

Creep by Yolanda Olson
What an insane book! I could not put it down. I LOVE super dark reads and Yolanda pushes EVERY boundary there is. Mina is sexy, smart and bad-ass but she is caught up in a gritty, macabre filled lifestyle that could ultimately be her ruin. The writing is raw, the story is twisted and I loved every second of it. ***Remember- The warnings are there for a reason.

Mister Moneybags by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward
It’s a love triangle with a twist…the heroine falls for one man while dating another, but doesn’t realize they’re the same person! This book is funny and cute and snarky and very romantic. As you can imagine from this situation, some craziness ensues. For me, the craziness went a little over the top, but it’s still a great love story. Enjoy!

The Goodbye Man by A. Giannoccaro and Mary E. Palmerin
This book has been sitting on my kindle for a bit now. I was in the mood for a disturbing story, so I dove in head first a few nights ago. WOW. I was NOT disappointed. The Goodbye Man was one of the most twisted stories I have read in a while. The warnings are extremely true so do not take them lightly. It switches between several different POV’s and you will find yourself having a love hate relationship between Ceasar and Mateo. You will question your sanity. Just know it will be okay. My heart broke for Svetlana and trust me when I say the authors have you sucked into her heart breaking story from the beginning. Beyond a normal taboo read and I caution you, this story is as dark as they come!

Easy Magic by Kristen Proby
Get ready for another trip to New Orleans with the Boudreaux family! Beau’s journey with psychic Mallory gives us the special Kristen Proby repartee that we love so much. ~ Nelle [April 2017]

Dirty Filthy Rich Men by Laurelin Paige
Meet my new favorite book of 2017!! I can’t say enough about this book. It’s intense and sexy and beyond HAWT. Just read it. You definitely won’t be sorry!!

The Night Mark by Tiffany Reisz
Another great, unique story from Tiffany Reisz. She has a gift for giving us flawed characters that we can’t help but love, witty dialogue and fantastic love stories. This is unlike anything I’ve read and I enjoyed every word.

Shade’s Lady (1001 Dark Nights) by Joanna Wylde
The Reaper’s MC series should come with a warning: Will rob you of a good night’s sleep. At least that has been the case for me with every single one of Joanna Wylde’s biker books. Not that I wish you all to suffer, but if you haven’t read Joanna Wylde, you need to. Sleep is overrated anyway.
There was no exception with Shade and Mandy’s story. I am thoroughly sleep deprived, but happy too. Obviously. Shade was a bit of an alphahole, as expected. Yet it was impossible not to fall in love with him, his charisma and large-and-in-charge personality being irresistible. Mandy tugged at my heart too. She’s just so real. I could see myself getting into the same scrapes and ending up in similar situations. She was so trusting and open-hearted. But also tough and resilient and resourceful.
Between the action, the courtship (did I just call a biker romance a courtship?), and the really hot sex (alphaholes have the best moves, let’s be real), and the badassness of the motorcycle club element, this story gets all the stars. Well, all five of them. And an auto one-click. Go one-click, if you haven’t already.

Every Little Thing by Samantha Young
Reading this book took me away from all my worries and transported me to a beautiful beachside resort town. The vivid descriptions of the scenery and the very real, very engaging characters with their everyday struggles, failures and victories, their intense chemistry and torrid love affairs jump right off the page. The talent of the writer is such that not only was I so completely invested in the main characters’ love story but the supporting characters’ stories as well. Before I even finished this book, I was dying to get my grabby hands on the as yet unwritten stories of the supporting characters, because their secrets are so compelling I still think about what hasn’t been revealed yet hinted at and how it will shape the next books in the series. The Hart’s Boardwalk series is definitely on par with the On Dublin Street series, but different, with its own flavor, a different culture. It’s an auto one-click for me, 5 stars, and a Must-Read for all contemporary romance fans. [March 2017]

The Deep End by Kristen Ashley
I never doubt that I’m going to love a book by Kristen Ashley. Never. But I did wonder how she was going to create an alpha-submissive, and do it in a way that’s true to the lifestyle. I don’t know why I wondered. I should have known she would create a wonderfully alpha man ready to take care of his woman, but also NEEDING to be dominated by her. It was beautiful, it was beyond hot….WAY BEYOND HOT!! I can’t wait for more from the Honey Club!
Leave everything you know about Kristen Ashley books at the door. This is a new type of romance. It’s actually more erotica than the Unfinished Heroes series, but it definitely takes it’s queue from those alpha males and flips it on it’s head. Now the woman is the one calling the shots in the bedroom (or kitchen, stable, and BDSM club.) I liked all the characters, of course, but still felt there could have been more of Amelie and Olivier. The sex scenes are off the chart hot, but they tended to overshadow the character development. And we see a lot of side characters thrown in from both Amelie’s life and Olivier’s, but Kristen gives us hints for the next 2 (hopefully 3) couples. Don’t be afraid of an Alpha-sub. Even though Olivier may like to be told what to do in the bedroom, he is ALL normal Kristen Ashley Alpha male outside of that. Remember to respect all kink.

Blush for Me by Kristen Proby
Who loves a bossy alpha and a tough girl who can stand her ground? Me! Me! Me! Add in Kristen Proby’s with and girl talk and we have another winner.

Sweet Rivalry (1001 Dark Nights) by K. Bromberg
It takes special skill to make a reader fall in love with characters in a novella. K. Bromberg has that skill in spades! Ryder and Harper’s competitiveness turns into some extreme sexual tension. Once that tension explodes, we get a sexy, steamy, ridiculously hot story. The only problem? This quick read left me wanting more of Harper and Ryder…..and beard burn.
-
Cheater by Rachel Van Dyken
Another hilarious winner from Rachel Van Dyken! Lucas and Avery’s relationship is complicated, to say the least. She wishes she could hate him for his cheating ways, but she can’t help but love him. Their banter is hilarious, sexual tension is fierce and their story is sweet. You’ll never look at a cheater the same way.

Preston’s Honor by Mia Sheridan
Ahhh! Mia Sheridan always breaks my heart and then repairs it in kindest, sweetest way. Preston and Lia’s story is a tumultuous one but so, so satisfying. ~ Nelle [February 2017]

The Do-Over by Julie Richman
When Julie Richman writes a book, I read it. It’s as simple as that. Her writing is impeccable and her stories pull you in and never let you up for air. The Do-Over is my new Julie favorite. I loved everything about it. The expectation and anticipation, the beautiful way she weaves different storylines together. I don’t want to say too much because this is a book you need to experience. You’ll run the gamut of emotions and love every second of it.

Egomaniac by Vi Keeland
Vi Keeland gives us everything I love about romance in this one fantastic story. The sexual tension and hilarious banter between Drew and Emerie is just perfect. And just when you think you know Drew’s story, BAM. You don’t. Brilliant! Egomaniac will leave you smiling.

Rock Chick Reawakening by Kristen Ashley
Marissa’s Recommendation
This book. THIS epilogue. I’ve always loved these 2 characters since they were first introduced in the Rock Chick series, and to finally see how they fell in love, gave each other what they dreamed about AND seeing a few characters from the other 8 books, it was so much more than I anticipated. Marcus is my new favorite Hot Bunch guy, the things he does for Daisy and says to her as he woos her… you will be swooning. I may have teared up a few times, smiled so big at Daisy’s sayings, and had such a big book hangover afterwards. I had to go do a reread of some favorite Rock Chick scenes to keep the happy glow going. And, now I’m smiling again thinking of that epilogue.
Adrian’s Recommendation
I feel like I’ve been waiting FOREVER for Daisy and Marcus’ love story. It was well worth the wait! You may think you know Marcus Sloan, you don’t. Throw everything you think you know about him out the window. He’s a typical KA alpha asshole through and through. *insert longing sigh here* In addition to Marcus and Daisy’s first encounter, we also get to see the first time Marcus is introduced to Lee. THAT is worth the price of admission.
-
Bad Mommy by Tarryn Fisher
This is one of those books that’s best to go in blind. So I’ll just tell you my first thought when I was finished….”WTF did I just read?” I still can’t quite answer that question, but I know I loved every freaking word of it.
-
Wait for It by Mariana Zapata
I’ve loved everything written by Mariana. She has a way of immersing you in the story and you don’t even realize you are halfway done, at 2 am. This story had me tearing up, laughing at the antics of the children and Diana, grumbling when something happened to Diana that I didn’t like, and falling in love with Dallas right along with Diana. I promise you’ll have more laughs and happy sighs than tears. It’s such a great slow burn romance that you don’t even realize (or care) you’re at 95% and that’s when you get the hot sex scene. This can be read as a standalone, but you do see a few characters from her other books. And since I loved those too, it just added to my love of this book. ~ Marissa

The One Real Thing by Samantha Young
I was in a complete book funk after reading Moonshadow by Thea Harrison (Thanks, Thea, for ruining me!) and jumped from book to book until finally, FINALLY, I wisely used my Audible credit to buy The One Real Thing by Samantha Young. Samantha Young never fails me, especially on audio. Have you listened to On Dublin Street on audio? It’s amazing. The story, the accent, it’s all amazing and I’ve listened to it no less than 15 times.
Back to The One Real Thing. This book got me out of my book funk and through some nasty food poisoning. Do you know how hard it is to enjoy a book when you’re nauseous? It’s hard, but I was so into Jessica (Doc) and Cooper’s story that the nausea did not stop me. There was always something unexpected happening to pull me in. The desire and passion between Jessica and Cooper was palpable. The heartbreaking moments made me cry. I cried a lot during this book. Maybe that was the food poisoning. Hard to tell now. And I fell in love with the boardwalk and the secondary characters. All of them. Except the Queen Bitch. I didn’t love her, but I love to hate her.
This is a five-star read. And I can not wait for the rest of this series. ~Lina [December 2016]

Moonshadow by Thea Harrison
I have the biggest book hangover from this one. It was so good. The magical world that Thea Harrison has build with the Elder Races series flows into this new series beautifully. It is helpful if you’ve read the Elder Races series to catch on to the backstory, but it is not necessary. There are no spoilers for the Elder Races books in this new series.
I am in love with the heroine. She is feisty, independent, smart, resourceful, and strong, yet, of course, she’s human too, and flawed, which is one of the things that makes this story so very fun.
“You have one job. Just don’t kiss assholes.”
And of course, the hero is an alpha asshole, aka alphahole. There’s more to it, obviously. There’s action and adventure, and lots of history. And sizzling romance. It all comes together in a page-turning story that I absolutely LOVED. I cannot wait for Spellbound. This is one of my new favorite couples, books, and series. It’s a MUST READ.
~LinaMagic, mayhem, an alpha warrior and the strong woman who falls in love with him, these are just some of my favorite things with Thea’s books.
The plot was always moving, I was never bored, and the love/hate relationship between Sophia and Nikolas during their courtship was hilarious.
Take an anachronistic Fae warrior and pair him with a thoroughly modern witch. I think she yelled back at him as much as he yelled at her when she did something he didn’t agree with… i.e. behave like a modern woman. But you could see how much they started to care for each other in such a short time inside and outside the bedroom. I cannot wait for the next 2 books in this trilogy and who those couples will be.
If this is your first Thea book, you’ve picked a great start because there are no spoilers for her main series.

The Pawn by Skye Warren
Skye Warren is one of the most talented dark romance writers I’ve ever read. She never fails to turn the most distressful situations into the forbidden fantasies you don’t want to admit to having. Hot forbidden fantasies. The Pawn is no exception. Avery James’s tribulations bring her to Gabriel Miller, whose brand of salvation is not kind and gentle, and may not be salvation for Avery at all. His brand of hotness, though, is very right, in a scary, domineering alpha kind of way. I cannot wait to see what happens next when I get my grabby hands on The Knight. It is worth the wait for Gabriel Miller.

Wound Tight by Tessa Bailey
Tessa Bailey hits it out of the park with her MM debut. Tessa is known for her dirty-talking alphas and you will find her signature style in Wound Tight. Renner and Milo’s chemistry is explosive and will keep the page turning.~ Nelle [December 2016]
