  • Duke of Pleasure by Elizabeth Hoyt

Another beautifully written, action, drama, and romance-packed Maiden Lane story from Elizabeth Hoyt. This whole series is amazing, but I’ve been especially looking forward to Alf’s story. Alf is an enigmatic character whose story unfolded in a way that kept the pages turning. And the duke, well, the duke was worth his salt too. I love a good duke. Who doesn’t, right? RIGHT? Especially dukes involved with intrigue, and investigations of mysterious circumstances surrounding death (murder?), secret societies, and love affairs. This was a definite favorite for me, one I highly recommend. It’s up there with Lord of Darkness, Duke of Midnight and Duke of Sin (my top 3 favorite Maiden Lane books). ~Lina [November 2016]

  • Right by Jana Aston

Every and Sawyer kept me laughing and swooning throughout the whole book. I may have shed some tears too, which is rare. I highly recommend binge reading all of Jana Aston’s books. I totally just did that, and my only regret is there aren’t more to binge on. ~Lina [November 2016]

  • Wrong by Jana Aston

I was rubbing my thighs together one minute and laughing hysterically the next while reading this book. It’s brilliant—fast paced, so very sexy, with smart and engaging protagonists. It totally played into my virgin and medical fetish while keeping me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put it down…except when I needed an extra hand. I loved it! And I peer-pressured Marissa into one-clicking and reading it. #SorryNotSorry She loved it too. Obv. Get your one-click on, this is a MUST READ! ~Lina [November 2016]

  • Mischief and the Masters by Cherise Sinclair

One of my most anticipated reads of 2016 was for sure Mischief and the Masters, and it did not disappoint! Cherise has always delivered beautiful love stories with flair and kink (#DominanceDoneRight). It was so easy to fall into the story and relate to the very real struggles of each of the main characters, even if their lives were so very different from each others’ (and my own). The way that Cherise so skillfully brought Uzuri, Alastair, and Max to life made it impossible to not be invested in their each individual success and to root for their connection and relationship to work. The hotness level put the icing on the cake, and, on that note, I personally recommend reading this in places that allow one-handed reading. I sure did! As always, this is a MUST READ for the kink-loving readers out there who enjoy watching a submissive squirm as the dominant men in her life take her in hand. ~Lina [November 2016]

  • Sweet Cheeks by K. Bromberg

If you’re looking for a sexy, funny, second chance love story, look no further. K Bromberg NEVER disappoints with her story telling and attention to detail. This brilliantly written book will make you laugh, swoon and fan yourself. Cozy up…it’s the perfect weekend read! [November 2016]

  • Transfer (The Retrieval Duet) by Aly Martinez

Part two of the Retrieval Duet is just as good as the first! Elisabeth and Roman’s story continues as we learn more about Claire and Tessa. There’s not much I can say without giving it away, but this story is suspenseful, sweet and deliciously sexy. Fantastic!

  • Hot Puck by Skye Jordan

Another Skye Jordan book knocked me for a loop! I know, I know, this is a shock to no one. But this book is special! Eden and Beckett’s dynamic is so compelling and their chemistry is off the charts! ~ Nelle [October 2016]

  • Down Shift by K. Bromberg

The Driven series is one of my favorites, so I was ecstatic to get Zander’s love story. The banter and sexual tension between Zander and Getty is fantastic, funny and sexy. That, the plot twists and dramatic story will keep you hooked from beginning to end. Another winner, K. Bromberg!

  • Outsider by Olivia Cunning

Regan, Ethan and Trey make their glorious return in Outsider. Our favorite triad is met with challenge after challenge, but still manage to burn up the pages! ~ Nelle [September 2016]

  • Chandler by Laurelin Paige

Meet my new book boyfriend! I thought I was in love with Chandler’s big brother, but he blows Hudson out of the water. Chandler (and his story) is charming, funny and ultra steamy! I love his banter with Genevive, they’re the perfect match. I love Laurelin Page’s seamless, smooth writing. She has a way of making you fall in love with her shameless playboys, and I absolutely fell for Chandler. [September 2016]

  • The Darkest Surrender (Lords of the Underworld) by Gena Showalter

Strider is probably my favorite of the Lords. I love his devil-may-care attitude, his hilarious come-backs and digs at the other characters. And he has totally met his match in Kaia because she is just as vain and competitive as him. She pokes at his demon and makes bets with him knowing he can’t stand to lose, yet lets him win so he’s not in pain. Their banter will have you laughing, but don’t worry, there is plenty of suspense and action packed into this book. The romance isn’t insta-love either, so we have a nice build-up throughout the story, even with plenty of sexy times. We also get to see the rest of the Lords and their women as Gena’s world building and overall story arc continues.

  • Retrieval (The Retrieval Duet Book 1) by Aly Martinez

OMGOMGOMGOMG. THIS BOOK!! Yes, shouty capitals are totally called for. Just read the first chapter and you’ll be hooked. Thank you, Aly Martinez, for writing my favorite book of 2016. Totally amazing.

Once in a while you come across a story that rocks you to your very core. It is emotional, intense, suspenseful and full of passion. You read it and know it will stay with you for quite some time. Retrieval was one of those for me. Aly Martinez, Bravo! The dynamic between Roman & Elisabeth had me from page one. Their connection is felt so strongly through the words you read. I adored Roman, even with all his issues. He is sexy, smart and an all around strong male character. Elisabeth is just the same. Both dealing with the same devastation, I eagerly watched them grow apart, then together. Their love for one another is intoxicating and hot! Enter Claire and her daughter and a whole bunch of “Holy Shit!” moments and the story goes from amazing to one of my favorites! It is a fast roller coaster ride, with extreme highs and lows that will leave you digging your fingernails into the bar holding you in! But trust me…… you will enjoy the ride.

  • Quick Trick by Skye Jordan

I loved Skye Jordan’s take on the rich city guy and small town girl. She always brings the heat/heart/humor. Faith and Grant are a hot star crossed couple with a small town charm. ~ Nelle [September 2016]

  • Well Hung by Lauren Blakely

Lauren Blakely delivers again with another male-POV standalone. I love a Vegas story and Wyatt when Natalie bring their sizzling chemistry to Sin City. Wyatt finds brand new ways to push Natalie’s buttons (ahem, on a roller coaster?). ~ Nelle [September 2016]

  • The Protector by Jodi Ellen Malpas

What I thought was going to be a typical “rich girl falls for her bodyguard” story turned out to be so much more! Cami and Jake’s spark is undeniable and their passion is hot. This story is thrilling and filled with crazy twists……..and Jake is HAWT! Fantastic! [September 2016]

  • Too Wild to Tame by Tessa Bailey

If slow burns are your jam, Too Wild to Tame is the book for you. Aaron and Grace’s chemistry smolders as their story grows. Tessa Bailey keeps the pages turning until the very end. ~ Nelle [September 2016]

  • Broken Prince by Erin Watt

When you go to sleep and dream about a book, then wake up early to finish said book, you know it’s a good one. And now I have a book hangover until book 3.
There’s high school drama, family drama, two people falling in love and you just keep turning the page because you know another bomb is about to be dropped. Boom! Erin Watt is trying to ruin me for all other authors. I almost want to compare this series to a soap opera, or maybe a little 90210? You’ll have to see for yourself. And the ending . . . holy hell. I can hear the authors laughing maniacally from here.

  • King of Me by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

Let me preface this with a warning: You will have a book hangover after finishing this because there are so many twists and turns and shocking information throughout the story. My mind is still churning over it all. Was it dark? Yes. Are there paranormal elements to the story? Yep – but they only enhance the story. Were there times I wanted to kick the hero in the balls? Uh yes. Until you get to book 3 and then it ALL makes sense, because Mimi is a freaking genius. You will get your heart stopped and restarted a few times too, along with some angst thrown in for laughs. Mimi is sadistic like that, but I haven’t been let down by any of her books. Take a chance on King. Mia did and it eventually paid off.
You could start from book 3 because Mimi does go over all the major plot points in the beginning, but you will miss all the nuances between the characters, little hints for the plot, and the funny stuff.

  • Pulling Her Trigger by Alexa Riley

I loved this story (actually the whole series) but Vincent and Mac hold a special place in my Kindle. I loved how Mac was a strong woman, and Vincent was over-to-top into her and wanted to do nothing but please her and own her (but in a good way). He’s an alpha male for sure, but he’s not a jerk about it. Their romance was both sweet and dirty, you may be fanning yourselves with some of things that come out of Vincent’s mouth. This story had the perfect amount of smut, romance and suspense rolled into 100 pages.

  • Wait by AL Jackson

I’m a sucker for the angst and this book is chock full of it! I love the way AL Jackson weaves the story. You can feel that something big is going to happen, but you’re not sure what and when. The build-up and anticipation are fantastic. The love is beautiful. Perfect.

  • Close to You by Kristen Proby

Kristen Proby brings us this HOT one! I am so into Cami and Landon. Their chemistry between is off the charts. Kristen Proby is a expert at the family saga. I can’t wait for the next one. ~ Nelle [August 2016]

  • It Ends With Us By Colleen Hoover

I read to escape reality. I love the fictional worlds with the true love and happily ever afters that come with them. I love heroes and heroines to adore and villains to hate. But sometimes I love the reality. The books that show real life… a real life I may not understand, but I know it’s there. This book is it. Real. The beautiful and the ugly. All of it. This is a book that must be experienced, so I’m just going to leave it at that.

  • Worked Up by Tessa Bailey

Tessa Bailey TEARS IT UP in Worked Up. Duke is just the epitome of Pouty Man Bear and might be the most possessive hero we’ve seen from Tessa Bailey, and that’s saying something! As always she touches the heart while she burns up the pages. ~ Nelle [August 2016]

  • The Angels’ Share by J.R. Ward

J.R. Ward has a gift for creating these crazy worlds right smack in the middle of real life. The Angels’ Share reminds me of Dallas, Dynasty and all of those other 80’s shows about excess and wealth. I was drawn in from the start by this dysfunctional but loving family, and the twists and mysteries kept me glued through to the end. I can’t wait to see what happens next!! [June 2016]

  • Forbidden Fling by Skye Jordan

I love a star-crossed lover story and the family drama that surrounds Ethan and Delaney gives Romeo and Juliet a run for their money. Skye Jordan brings the sexy and gives us a great, complex story.~ Nelle [July 2016]

  • Sugar Daddies by Jade West

I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again, Jade West writes some of the dirtiest books I have ever read and Sugar Daddies is no different. She never disappoints when it comes to dirty talk and always has me feeling hot & bothered throughout the story. DEAR GOD, Carl, Rick & Katie leave very little to the imagination and it is deliciously sexy. To say I was getting all flustered while reading these scenes is an understatement. Along with the steamy sex, Jade delivers raw emotions and depth which made me really enjoy watching the characters develop. This book gives you it all, so hurry & #1click now!

  • Love Tap by M.N. Forgy

You get an Alpha male AND female in this book and it is double the hotness! Tate is a bad ass chick who holds her own. Total opposite of a girly girl, but beautiful, sassy and strong, which is why Camden loves her so hard. They have a history and when they find each other again, it is a bit rocky, but their feelings are too strong to ignore. Lots of hot sexual tension, sarcastic humor and all types of crazy emotions. If you love a good second-chance romance, you won’t be disappointed.

  • Dirty by H.J. Bellus

I was not disappointed by this book at all! It lived up to it’s title and then some. HJ Bellus gives you lust filled sex, suspenseful plot twists and heartfelt emotions. Zane is a bad boy who’s life has never been easy and much like Ava, I fell fast for his Alpha ways. They both seem to enter each others life at just the right time and their insta-passion is undeniable. Looking forward to the spin-off book!

  • Trinity by M. Never

If you like your books dirty hot, you need to 1-click Trinity now. Chase, Shane, & Jennifer are the perfect threesome and their erotic encounters left me feeling hot & bothered constantly throughout the story. Trust me you will want more. Like when you have amazing sex and you’re riding that high, glowing, blissfully happy and counting the seconds until round two begins. You know that feeling! The writing was strong, the pacing was fast and the sex was scorching. One handed reading at it’s finest!

  • Bad Teacher by Clarissa Wild

The unbelievably hot dirty talk in this book is mind blowing! HOT DAMN!!! Professor Thomas Hard (yes, Mr. HARD) is all about down and dirty sex. His love for kink and obedience won me over from the start. Where was he when I was in school??? Clarissa Wild takes on the Teacher/student taboo affair with this one and brings the heat!
