  • Wicked For You by Shayla Black

Wicked Lovers 10!! Axel. Dillon. I could stop my review there just with those two HOT words….AXEL DILLON. Wicked For You is the 10th book in the Wicked Lovers Series and even though my heart has always been with Deke Trenton (Decadent) I felt myself loving Axel. Good build up and storyline. Mystery Mullins is a strong, independent lead character who spent years pining for Axel and the excitement of what was on the next page kept me up all night. Read this one in one sitting!!! BRAVO, SHAYLA BLACK! This is one of your best!

  • Hard As Steel: A Hard Ink/Raven Riders Crossover (1001 Dark Nights)

Laura Kaye’s novella writing game is on point. In this case, she introduced a whole new gaggle of characters and gave Ike and Jessica story a good deal of depth. I’m looking forward to the next in the Ravens Riders series. ~ Nelle [September 2015]

  • Sinful Desire by Lauren Blakely

The dirtiest Blakely Boy ever? That’s what they say. I’m telling you, it’s TRUE! Check out those quotes and get back to me. What they aren’t saying is that Sophie OWNS her own sexuality. She knows what she wants and she finds her place.~ Nelle [September 2015]

  • Making a Play by Victoria Denault

A sweet and sexy friends-to-lovers story!! This book has everything I love in a romance. Sassy but shy Rose is determined to make hockey star Luc see her as more than the little girl he grew up with. I love how Rose embraces her inner strong woman (at 21)! Make a Play is a super romantic and steamy, albeit predictable, love story. [September 2015]

  • Complicate Me by M. Robinson

Complicated doesn’t even begin to describe Lucas and Alex’s young love. Best friends turned almost-lovers. Are they? Aren’t they? Will they ever be? If you like your romance filled with angst, you will LOVE this book. I laughed, I yelled a lot and I teared up more than once. It’s beautifully complicated. [September 2015]

  • A Desperate Man: Volume 3 by Ella Frank & Brooke Blaine

Evan and Reagan’s twisty relationship takes a few more turns. Ella and Brooke brought another quick and compelling read to close out the series.~ Nelle [September 2015]

  • Grayson’s Vow by Mia Sheridan

Always count on Mia Sheridan to bring a creative twist to a story you think you’ve heard before. She is a master storyteller and wraps that story around you like a warm blanket. Grayson’s Vow brings all of the romance and emotion you need in your next read.~ Nelle [September 2015]

  • Capture by Rachel Van Dyken

Another winner from Rachel Van Dyken! Capture is the perfect blend of funny, sexy and romantic, with characters I instantly fell in love with. Linc and Dani’s love isn’t instant and they have to work hard to get over their issues and the disapproval of Dani’s family and best friends who hilariously threaten Linc every chance they get. It’s the perfect lighthearted but sexy love story! [September 2015]

  • Dark Wild Night by Christina Lauren

Lola and Oliver breathe new life into a friends-to-lovers story. Christina Lauren bring a sparkling wit and depth to this tale of geek love. ~ Nelle [September2015]

  • Pulled Under by Sarah Darlington

Pulled Under is an angsty, sexy addition to the Kill Devil Hills Series. Drama, over-protective brothers, HOT sex and a bit of angst abound! While we don’t learn anything new about the overall plot (no spoilers here, you need to read all three books), it’s a sweet and sexy look into what’s going on with everyone else featured in book 2. The best part about this manwhore-turned-loverboy is that Rhett’s feelings never waiver. And I love a man who knows what he wants and has no problem fighting for it! [September 2015]

  • Rule by C.D. Reiss

I’m in love with this series. C.D. Reiss has a gift for putting my emotions through the wringer and making me love every second of it. Spin and Theresa’s love story is a train wreck. The intensity of their passion is off the charts, the only thing working for them is their need for each other. The need to protect, to heal, to love. It’s amazing and beautiful and scary. The Corruption Series has all of the twists, violence, passion and emotion that makes a series a Must-Read! [August 2015]

  • To Tempt a SEAL by Sara Jane Stone

Sara Jane Stone is another new-to-me author and To Tempt a SEAL fits right in with the #LikeCandy reads. She brings a compelling story and lots of hot action (all over VEGAS)! ~ Nelle [August 2015]

  • Scandal Never Sleeps by Shayla Black and Lexi Blake

When these authors team up, I know it’s going to be a smoking-hot story, and this book is no exception! But along with the smoking-hot, we get mystery and danger. The “Perfect Gentleman” are just that….rich, sexy, and powerful men who will immediately steal your heart. This one will keep you guessing!! [August 2015]

A shiny new series by two of my very favorites. Shayla Black and Lexi Blake have teamed up for yet another amazing series! What a breath of fresh literature. Filled with suspense, drama, murder and the hottest group of powerful man candy you’ll ever read. Looking forward to the next installment to The Perfect Gentlemen series. BRAVA!!

  • Consumed by You by Lauren Blakely

Lauren Blakely brings me two of my favorite things in Consumed by You: dogs and a hot fireman! Travis and Cara’s story lived up to the hype and brought the heat!~ Nelle [August 2015]

  • Playing For Her Heart by Megan Erickson

Megan Erickson blurs the line between geeky and erotic fun like no one else. She makes the blooming relationship between Grant and Chloe one that keeps the pages turning.~ Nelle [August 2015]

  • Make Me by Tessa Bailey

When this series started, I knew Russell would be my favorite of the bunch. I was not disappointed! He’s a broody, independent caveman who wants nothing more than to take care of Abby. His dominant tendencies mixed perfectly with Abby’s virginity. Weird? Yep, but as usual, Tessa makes it work. Awesomely.
I love a virgin-meets-protector story as much as the next girl. Leave it up to Tessa to strengthen the virgin in a modern, evolved, intelligent woman. Tessa’s virgin-meets-protector story exceeds all expectations and even pulled my (ice cold) heart strings!

  • Dare to Rock by Carly Phillips

I’ve been following the Dare family all this year, and I was excited to see a second chance romance with a rock star. Not only do we get to see most of the characters from the past books, but we get a small slice of suspense thrown into the family drama to spice things up. Carly Phillips does a great job explaining some of the important plot points from previous books so you won’t be lost if you start with this book. And, she makes Grey another alpha male, and I’ve loved all of them in the Dare family so far. It was fun watching Avery stand up and assert herself with Grey and her overbearing brothers, but also lean on Grey when she needed some good cuddling. [August 2015]

  • Sustained by Emma Chase

You already know that I love an Emma Chase book. Her stories are so sweet and sexy and her male POV is the best of the genre. I love how she can make the alpha man-whore totally lovable and her heroines so relatable. ~ Nelle [August 2015]
#MalePOVFTW!! Nobody writes from the mae POV as well as Emma Chase, and once again she knocks it out of that park! This story isn’t only about the taming of a man-whore, it’s about family and love and grief and the hilarity of parenthood. Love!!

  • Falling Under by Lauren Dane

Lauren gives us another character driven story, delving into the two main characters’ stories so well, you feel like you’re living the ups and downs with them. I loved Duke in the previous book, so I was excited to meet the woman to bring him down. Carmella comes with family drama but I enjoyed watching her open up to Duke, not feel guilty for finally relying on someone for once, and tumbling into love with this man who wants to help her any way he can. We get a little suspense, but it’s mostly another great book about family issues for both characters and learning to lean on each other when the time comes. [August 2015]

  • Archangel’s Enigma by Nalini Singh

When I first set eyes on Archangel’s Enigma (Angie will be my witness), I’m pretty sure I did a Gollum impression: petting the cover, saying “my precious,” and possibly drooling a little (which is how I got the early copy, people, by essentially licking it). It did not disappoint, because Nalini Singh never seizes to enthrall and enslave my imagination. Her world building is amazing, and immerses the reader in its beauty right away. Naasir’s book is no exception. It takes the reader through the gamut of emotions, all while following Andromeda and Naasir on an action-packed adventure.

Naasir stole my heart. He’s wild, beautiful, full of secrets that will keep you guessing. And most importantly, he’s super sexy. Andromeda is a lucky angel. I’d steal Naasir from her if only he didn’t just think of everyone other than Andromeda as “food.” This is a MUST READ! [July 2015]

  • The Bourbon Kings by J.R. Ward

JR Ward has a gift for building complicated stories with intricate plots amazing characters you have to love. The Bourbon Kings is filled with everything I love in a book……love, mystery, strong characters, villains you’ll love to hate. There’s so much going on in this book, but it all flows together effortlessly. I can’t wait for the next one! [July 2015]

  • Sex Snob by Elizabeth Hayley

This book came out of nowhere to wow me. I’ll admit to being skeptical at first, assuming this was another version of Sex and the City, complete with a revolving door of men who don’t measure up (get it, measure up?). But it was such a fun read—and by read I mean listen, as I listened to it on Audible—with its witty banter, steamy sex, and fast pace. This is a great beach read or sitting-by-the-pool read. [July 2015]

  • Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh

I loved Lucas, he was a great Alpha male, and I loved he would do little things to try and get reactions out of Sascha. The bear poking the human . . . sort of. The world building is extensive and I can’t wait to see where Nalini takes it, adding to the different layers of the 2 main packs, the humans and Psy. I love Nalini’s angel series, and since this one has been around longer, I was a little daunted about starting it. I have a lot of catching up to do but I feel a binge read coming on for this series.[July 2015]

Slave to Sensation is the book that hooked me on Nalini Singh’s genius. Lucas and Sascha are one of my favorite couples in the Psy-changeling 14-book series (and I’ve read every single one). Lucas’s dominance and tenacity, and playfulness—he is a cat after all—make him one of the hottest alpha male heroes I’ve had the pleasure of having as my book boyfriend (sorry, Sascha). The story is both fun and full of adventure and mystery, and some gore. It will make you run the gamut of emotions, and in the end, there is satisfaction, and an immediate need to start reading the next book in the series. And you’d be in luck, because there’s 13 books already out there and available for your consumption. It’s okay to binge. [July 2015]

  • Bleeding Love by Harper Sloan

Thank you, Harper Sloan, for giving me yet another Book Boyfriend to lust over. Just like his Dad, Liam Beckett is a force……a quiet, sexy force that will swoop you up and never let go. He’s delicious, the perfect man. He knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to get Megan and her precious daughter to be permanent fixtures in his life. The best part? He doesn’t fight Megan’s demons for her, he heals her hurt with his love. Freaking brilliant!! [July 2015]

  • Opening Up by Lauren Dane

You need to 1-click this baby. Such a great story, hot bedroom scenes, family drama (but not annoying), the girl chasing the guy and great side characters.
I liked the change up of the man worrying about the woman being too young for him, even when he admits how smart and put-together she is in her life. And when he finally gives in to their chemistry (and they have it from the beginning) it is hot, sweet romance till the end. [July 2015]

  • Taming Dex by Zoey Derrick

After meeting Dex in the previous books, I wasn’t sure there was a woman who could handle him for more than one night. She would have to be strong and be able to call him out when he was being an ass. And Dex lives up to his history more than once, fighting demons but also being the rock for his band mates when needed. Raine has a tortured past as well, but I loved seeing them learn to heal each other while dealing with their own demons. Plus, Zoey writes some very hot bedroom scenes to help tie the story together. [July 2015]

  • Insider by Olivia Cunning

Oh Olivia Cunning brings it in Insider. We’ve waited for ages for the start of the Exodus End World Tour and it did not disappoint. Innocent (but not stupid) Toni is a great match for man-whore Logan. I loved the way they challenged each other and brought the hotness. ~ Nelle [June2015]

  • Ride Steady by Kristen Ashley

Great character building and redemption, I loved seeing all my favorite Chaos characters plus some from a couple other series. KA knows how to write a great back story and draws you in from page 1. Plus, we get our Epilogue, though a little shorter than other books, it was still wonderful. I want my own hot biker who loves kids. [June 2015]
First there was Tack, loved him. Then came Shy, loved him more. I never thought I’d love a biker more than Shy….but Joker took over my heart! He gives new meaning to hot, brooding biker dude. But I loved his soft side the most. And, as usual, KA gives me a kick-ass chick that could totally be my BFF. Plus a cute baby. And a Hot Bunch cameo. And some hot as hell biker dirty talk and ever hotter sexin’. Seriously, this book could not have been any better. [June 2015]

  • Sweet Sinful Nights by Lauren Blakely

Sweet Sinful Nights brings Shannon and Brent’s love story full circle and surprised me with its depth. Lauren brings a sweetness and a dose of suspense to this second chance romance. A great kick-off to the Sinful Nights series, I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
I love a second chance romance story!! I liked that Brent and Shannon didn’t fall back together right away, even though their attraction was instant. I can’t wait to see how the mystery unfolds as we get to know (and probably fall in love with) Shannon’s brothers. Blakely’s gorgeous writing style, smoking-hot sexy times and a bit of mystery make this one a must-read. [June 2015]

  • When You’re Back by Abbi Glines

Mase and Reese’s love story continues away from Rosemary Beach. They’re finally together and everything is flowers and rainbows. Right? Of course not!! There’s family drama and a mysterious, broody hot guy with his sights set on Reese. There’s hot office sex. There’s misunderstanding and miscommunication…..all of the angst and emotion we expect from an Abbi Glines book. [June 2015]
