I enjoyed this book immensely! It has everything that makes a biker read enjoyable. Hot Alpha men, intense sex, dark secrets and twisted humor. The romance and action between Skull & Beth was great. They are both extremely different, but when they get together, the chemistry feels very real. Skull is pure sex. I found myself flipping the pages wanting more and more of him. And Beth, you can’t help but love her as the story goes on. I will warn you, you will cry and feel lost when done reading this book. Jordan Marie does an amazing job at ripping your heart out on this emotional roller coaster ride. It does end on a cliffhanger but have no fear, Book 2 is due out very shortly.

Hard Ever After by Laura Kaye
Laura Kaye does it again in a novella! She can weave a full story in just a few pages and make it fully engrossing. Nick and Becca find their ever after, but as suspected, it’s not easy.~ Nelle [February 2016]

Undo Me by M. Robinson
Attention fans of angst: this book was written just for you!!!! Dylan and Aubrey’s volatile love story is probably my favorite of the series. The characters are real and raw and their life-long love story is beautifully heartbreaking. However, I do wish the author gave us more of a warning about the violence and other situations that might be triggers for some readers.

Pure Punishment by T.L. Smith
I was recently given this book to read and I am glad I did. This story messes with your mind but in a way that keeps you wanting more. It pulls you in from page one and T.L. Smith does an amazing job entwining all of the characters. You get dual point of views through out the book. Kayla is strong and crazy while Kristy is sweet and broken. Throw Kai, a dark and sexy police detective, into the mix and the sexual chemistry is off the charts. Pure Punishment is not your average romance. Suspenseful, dark and the twists will keep you guessing to the very end.

I See You by Ker Dukey & D.H. Sidebottom
I am a big fan of dark and emotional reads. This was hands down one of those most disturbing, twisted stories I have ever read. I could not put it down. Listen to the Authors warning. It is a tale of abuse, survival & love. The characters are so well written, you feel every emotion. The story follows Nina and her struggle to rebuild a life after a horrific event and Devin, who is fighting hard for the good in himself to win. Their passion is powerful and hits you at your core. This book is beyond twisted and I loved every second of it!

Legend by Katy Evans
Legend brought us a new couple on opposing sides of the fight ring but their young love was wonderfully innocent and hot at the same time. Both Maverick and Reese felt this pull towards each other, weren’t afraid to admit to themselves how much it scared them to need the other, and then pushed through that fear to find they couldn’t be without each other. There was no major suspense like in the previous Remy-centered books, this focused on Maverick and Reese’s blossoming love and also his introduction into Remy’s family. It was great seeing Remy, Brooke, Pete and Riley and his cranky Coach but it’s the end of an era, no more Remy after this story. We’ll have to dream up everyone’s true epilogue ourselves and I have a good idea it’s “real.”

Sophie’s Voice by Helen Hardt
This was a very hot read, set in a historical period (1800s), with a lady of the peerage and a theatre owner/performer. He’s worldly and experienced; she’s innocent, shy, and naive. Their attraction is palpable and every encounter will get you hot – TMI, it got me hot. There’s also suspense, drama, and subterfuge. It’s a fun weekend read that will keep you on the edge of your seat, possibly one-handed reading material. [February 2016]
If you like the Phantom of the Opera, you’ll like the little homage Helen writes into this hot historical story about a shy woman with the voice of an angel and the theater owner who falls in love with her. Then we have the added suspense of someone trying to make our heroine, Sophie, their private singer forever. Both Sophie and Zach try to fight their attraction to each other, but each encounter becomes hotter and goes further. And if you like a good spanking, so does Sophie. [February 2016]

Phenomenal X by Michelle A. Valentine
I loved this story. It follows Anna, a good girl who flees a very sheltered life from her controlling father. She meets Xavier, or Phenomenal X, the professional wrestler who is quite the womanizer. While the two of them grew up very differently, they have an instant connection and friendship eventually turns to hot and steamy romance. You can’t help but fall head over heels for Xavier and his Alpha ways. Michelle A. Valentine brings the heat in Phenomenal X and her Cliffhanger leaves you wanting SO MUCH MORE. Don’t let that stop you though! Book 2 of the Series, Xavier Cold, is out now!

Unraveled by Jennifer Dawson
This novella was perfect to not only show us snippets into the life of the previous couples after the HEA, but also to whet our appetites for the next couple. And boy are Chad and Ruby from 2 different ends of the spectrum. I will admit, I teared up in both Layla and Jillian’s separate episodes in the club because it showed their insecurities and how much their men love and understand them. I was alternately swooning and fanning myself from the scenes.
Unraveled is a quick, sexy read that is perfect for your lunchtime break, though you probably want privacy… The check-ins with our favorite couples – Michael and Layla, and Leo and Jillian – get really hot. The tease of Chad and Ruby – seriously, the TEASE – had me squirming, too, though it was all with anticipation. I’ve been consumed with the anticipation for their book – Debauched (hint hint, Jennifer Dawson!). There is just something so fucking hot about a straight-laced, easy-going man, who is easy-going…until he’s not. Just. So. Hot. And Ruby, too, is not as she seems – a starlet (sort of, she’s a singer), beautiful and self-assured, except when she’s not. After reading Unravelled, I just know that their story will be explosive. The anticipation is killing me. I definitely recommend this sexy check-in, anticipation-inducing goodness.

Outtakes from the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
This is definitely the type of anthology for hard core fans. You wouldn’t want to read this as your first introduction to Cat and Bones. Plenty of great one-liners from Bones, seeing other major characters in a different light, and of course a few sexy times to tie it together. I loved seeing different versions and explanations behind the stories from Jeaniene Frost. My favorite part though, was the huge novella length deleted scene from Book 4. It made me want to reread each book so I could compare the deletions with what actually made it into the book.

Sawyer Says by Carey Heywood
I was in the mood for a lighter, heart warming read and this story was perfect! Sawyer Sterling is such a strong and independent character. She has been emotionally damaged leading her to have major trust issues and because of that, she only involves herself in “surface” relationships. Jared has been her best friend for years but when they begin living with one another, something more begins to develop. Their chemistry is amazing and undeniable. Carey Heywood gives us well-developed characters with just the right amount of steamy romance and heartbreak. I really enjoyed this book.

The Life of Anna, The Complete Story by Marissa Honeycutt
By far one of the most unforgettable series I have ever read. Marissa’s writing is amazing. She uses unbelievable details to enhance the pleasure and pain Anna deals with throughout the series and constantly keeps you guessing and enthralled. You get invested in the characters and in the disturbing realities that are their lives. The love that develops between Alex and Anna is a strong and passionate one. The sacrifices they both make for each other throughout this story will leave you breathless and hopeful. I cannot say much more without giving away any spoilers. This is a must read. But be warned! This series has every trigger you can imagine. It is DARK. I mean, over the top, leave you in the fetal position, total mindf*ck dark! But who doesn’t love a good mindf*ck? 😉 5 stars from me!!!

The Professional by Kresley Cole
I’m not sure why I put this book off for so long, it’s not like Kresley Cole hasn’t proved herself to me over and over with her different genres. If you are new to her writing, let me tell you that this is probably one of her hottest (dirtiest?) stories that I’ve read of hers. Aleksandr could get anyone’s blood pumping with the things he does and talks about doing to Natalie. Plenty of Kresley’s usual snark and funny one-liners, a healthy dose of suspense, and major Alpha scenes from her Russian Mafia enforcer inside and outside of the bedroom. You will want your own private jet bedroom and a Russian sauna after reading this story, because holy smokes . . . you will need a cigarette for sure. Kresley does a great job with all of the characters; you are involved with their lives and backstories, plus you find yourself feeling Natalie’s emotions where Aleksandr is involved. Your heart will hurt for them both at some point but the end is so worth it.

All I have to say after reading The Professional is… I want a Siberian! Alexei Sevastyan, “The Siberian” bodyguard/ mafia enforcer, is dominating, tattooed and rocks a suit like no other. Basically, everything I lust over in a man 😉 Poor Natalie gets a taste of him and her 24 year old virgin self simply cannot get enough. The teasing, the foreplay….it all keeps you guessing about who’s seducing whom. Kresley Cole describes the build up and anticipation perfectly. If you enjoy hot sex scenes with BDSM aspects and great humor throughout your books, 1-click now.Guest Contributor
The Professional is a book for the hot alpha hero versus innocent(ish) virgin lovers (Oh yes!). The hero is a Russian mafia enforcer: domineering, uber protective, rocks a suit, has a sexy Russian accent, and scars to go with his bad-boy image. The heroine, virginal she may be, gives him a run for his money, a pushover she is not. There is lots of suspense, both sexy and plot-related. Let’s just say that the sexy parts are well-anticipated, built up, and delivered. You may need a cigarette after reading some of the scenes. Also, as a Russian reader, I should add that the parts of this book that refer to Russian culture are well-researched and well-written, which was a breath of fresh air for me , as I didn’t have to mentally correct anything. I don’t re-read many books, but this one has been well-read and well-loved by me more than once. And I am very proud to say that I bullied, brow-beat, and cajoled Angela and Marissa into reading and loving it, too. I hope you all follow suit and get to 1-clicking and reading ASAP. Must read. -
Conviction by Lesley Jones
This was my first read by Lesley Jones and I was pleasantly surprised! I usually read the dark, twisted, “I am too ashamed to say I not only read this but enjoyed this” books, but I was hooked after the first two chapters. The way she writes and describes the rawness of what the characters are feeling and experiencing keeps you captivated. It is real and heart wrenching, dirty and hot. The story follows Conner Reed, a drunk on power Rock God and Nina Matthews, the girl who stole his heart. Meeting at a very young age, they plan on being together forever but life deals them a different hand and for the next 15 years they each go on living thinking the other had abandoned them. It is a powerful, emotional, second chance romance story that will make you laugh and cry.

Eventide of the Bear by Cherise Sinclair
Classic Cherise Sinclair: highly anticipated and, as always, delivered the suspenseful, sweet, and sexy love story we have come to expect from her. There was heartbreak and hardship along the way, with interspersed bits that were heartwarming, and sexy—of course there was sexy. Ben and Ryder were domineering, and protective in that frustrating way that alpha males tend to be, yet also sweet and caring. As far as menages go, being the filling in a Ben and Ryder sandwich is definitely where I’d like to be. Sadly, that spot has been taken by Emma. I absolutely loved this book—and the whole series—especially the super satisfying resolution to the conflict, and highly recommend 1-clicking right away!

Boiling Point by Tessa Bailey
In Boiling Point we see a new type of Tessa alpha. The alpha who relinquishes control…and it’s HOT AS HELL. I’ve never read a hero that slips into a submissive position with the heroine and doesn’t become a beta. Tessa Bailey figured out the impossible! ~ Nelle [January 2016]

Watch: Volume 3 by Bethany James
This is the 3rd installment of Jack and Celia’s story and believe me when I say, it makes you realize that everyone should have some kink in their life! This is my favorite out of the series. It pushes the limits but you do not lose the connection between Celia and Jack. Bethany James gives you funny and romantic with a heavy dose of steamy and dirty. Celia has been watched and has done the watching. Now she wants to explore more taboo territory. The book takes you on the next adventure of her and Jack’s wild sex life. #1click now to find out just how wild the ride is!

Dirty Bad Strangers by Jade West
What a HOT book! Gemma Taylor is a chat line operator who is content with her life but she has the deepest desire to fulfill a very dirty fantasy. Enter Jason, a professional baller, who is all too willing to help her kinky dreams come true. The story is told from both characters point of view which I loved and I enjoyed how real the author made them. Jade West writes a down and dirty kinky story that is completely relate-able and highly enjoyable to read. Also, the dirty talk in this book is OFF THE CHARTS! Have extra batteries on hand and charge ALL toys before you #1click this.

Ahhh, this is my favorite of the series! We got glimpses of the funny partner in the other books but in Appealed, Brent Mason shines! Emma Chase kept me laughing and intrigued on every page. ~ Nelle [January 2016]

Slave to Love by Julie A. Richman
Julie Richman is one of my go-to, if-she-writes-it-I’ll-read-it authors. Her writing style is superb, characters real and swoon-worthy, stories original, romantic and hot. Slave to Love is no exception. Hale and Sierra are fighting some serious sexual tension, and when they FINALLY come together, it’s epic. Then it’s not……I was glued to the pages and couldn’t wait to see the outcome of their “will they-won’t they” struggles. Loved it!!

Dark Paradise by Winter Renshaw
This book is set in the world of politics but don’t let that fool you. It isn’t just a boring story about politicians and their family legacies. It is an erotic journey with a plot that went above and beyond what I expected. Camille is a strong, unforgettable main character who is not afraid to use her sexiness to her advantage. She is hired for a hot, steamy, 12 week LUST affair by a man she knows only as “John”. Naturally, secrets & scandals unfold but so does the hot, forbidden sex! Winter Renshaw delivers great chemistry between the characters and intense twists & turns. This book does not disappoint!

Aced by K. Bromberg
To say I LOVED this book would be a huge understatement. I loved it. Every word and detail. Even though we know how it ends, the story was not what I expected and totally exceeded my expectations. I don’t want to say too much about it and give anything away, but you’ll fall even more in love with Colton and Rylee. Lots of heart and heat will keep you glued to the pages. [January 2016]

Radiance (Wraith Kings Book 1) by Grace Draven
This was such a great romantic fantasy story with an arranged marriage that leads to love. I enjoyed watching Brishen and Ildiko fall in love with each other’s physical differences and even though I feel their romance is almost cute and sweet, there are still steamy bedroom scenes mixed into the story. We also get an evil mother-in-law, assassination attempts, court intrigue, and a shocking happy-for-now ending. All of the evil and danger only helps the couple grow closer, with a couple of comedic scenes to lighten the mood a bit.

Built: Saints of Denver by Jay Crownover
Jay Crownover is bringing a whole new set of uniquely named individuals to Denver. Zeb and Sayer’s story takes an unexpected turn and I felt Sayer’s struggle with the relationship. Zeb gives everything he can to win over the skittish Sayer. ~ Nelle [January 2016]

What You Need by Lorelei James
With a great combination of sexy, sweet and romantic, What You Need is the perfect office romance story. The build-up and sexual tension was fantastic and the characters were sweet, snarky, funny and vulnerable when they needed to be. I was very much intrigued by the Lund Brothers and can’t wait to see all of their love stories. [January 2016]

Crave by Jennifer Dawson
I loved this book, it was such a surprise (based off the blurb) and it had me hooked from the beginning. This has a hot, Alpha cop (and Dominant) who goes after the woman he’s been watching for 6 months. But, he knows how to be sweet and soothing when it’s needed.
Michael waited to make his move at the BDSM club because he knew Layla wasn’t ready. She had a lot of grief in her eyes, and over the course of the romance, we see flashbacks to what caused her pain. It is not a graphic retelling, but it still grips you by the throat and makes you feel for her. This isn’t dub-con, but Michael does push Layla past her comfort zone, especially when dealing with her traumatic past. And I love how he doesn’t give up, he quickly inserts himself into her life even though she tries to hide their relationship from everyone.Jennifer Dawson came out of nowhere and gave me exactly what I needed to get out of my book funk with Michael and Layla’s story. It had all the right elements to draw me in and keep me going until the very end. I love (LOVE) alpha male heroes. Love. And yet, it’s actually hard to write them right. You know, that right combination of alpha, dominant, asshole, take-no-shit, yet also understanding and nurturing. It’s dominance done right (hashtag), BDSM done right. Everything about this story was compelling – the characters, the BDSM, the hot sex (so alpha, so hot), and the story itself. Definitely recommend this for my kink and alpha male lovers.

First Touch by Laurelin Paige
The best yet from Laurelin Paige!! It’s hard to put into words how much I loved this book. It’s dark and dangerous and suspenseful and sexy and smart and just plain fantastic. I was hooked from the first sentence to the very last word. Like Emily, I never quite knew what to think of Reeve, and that makes him that much sexier. I love it. Every single word. [December 2015]
