Man for Me is the perfect compliment to the Man in Charge Duet. We meet Brett in the duet, he’s the “nice guy” cousin who seems to get the sort end of the stick in the family business. Man For Me stands up on it’s own and you don’t have to read the duet to enjoy this novella. This steamy friends-to-lovers romance moves quickly and I was glued from start to finish. Brett and Eden have wonderful chemistry and you’ll definitely wonder what took them so long to hook up! This novella is sweet, romantic and super hot. Who knew the nice guy could be so not-nice (in the best way) between the sheets?!? This one is a must-read!

Match Me Up by Weston Parker
Weston knows how to do romance right and this book is no different. Lily falls for her best friends twin, Thomas and while the story has its ups and downs, the connection and chemistry between them is hard to deny. The book develops seamlessly with Lily needing a place to stay, Thomas offering up his place, friendship igniting into desire and finally taking the leap. There is definitely some drama with Tamlyn, his twin, but I was happy to see she didn’t stand in the way of their happiness. I read this in one weekend and was highly entertained!

Kiss & Tell by C. Morgan
This book had a little bit of everything. It touched on the taboo aspect with a teacher and student relationship. It had a little bit of suspense and angst with the blackmail scenario between London and Finlay. It had a lot of chemistry and a really good build up to explosive foreplay and some down and dirty sex. London definitely laid it on thick at times and there were moments where I would’ve slapped her if she was my friend but you could tell she became so obsessed with Finley and it really drove her crazy tendencies over the edge. Overall this book gets pretty hot and the forbidden nature of it makes it well worth the read!

Becoming His by Gia Bailey
Matteo and Mila have that insta-chemistry, explosive connection that comes from being at the right place at the right time. Their attraction leads to a one night stand which leads to a surprise months later. Gia made each character be able to stand on their own, which I really enjoyed because sometimes with Insta-love stories, the need for one another is too much. This book has the perfect amount of steamy romance without being too over the top.

Wicked Dark Heathens by Lucy Smoke
Lucy Smoke brings us back into her Sick Boys world, this time for Abel’s story. I fell in love with Abel, as the least scary of the Sick Boys. I also enjoyed learning more about Riley, and watching her find inner strength she didn’t know that she possessed. Their chemistry is explosive, and I mean off the charts heat. There is a lot of sexy time in this one! There’s also suspense and twists and turns when Riley’s past comes back to haunt her. There are dark themes in the world of the Sick Boys, but if you enjoy dark stories, lots of sexy time, and characters who take no shit, you will love this series!!!

Guard of Honor by Tracie Delaney
Guard of Honor introduces Tracie Delaney’s Intrepid Bodyguard Series, and it does not disappoint. The chemistry between Mack and Honor is off the charts, and the twists and turns keep you guessing throughout the book. I thought I had it figured out, but the final twist threw me for a loop anyway. I laughed and cried along with Honor and Mack as they overcame their damages together. I am really looking forward to the rest of this series, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something new!

Mistakes I’ve Made by Jordan Marie
Callie and Reed are the epitome of young love. The innocence. The desperation. The unknown. This book delivers on every facet of emotional warfare. Reed wants nothing more than to be with her but stupid mistakes and senseless acts seem to get in his way. The tug of war between them seems endless at times and so much deeper than that of two teenagers on the cusp of adulthood. Callie knows what her heart wants but Mitch, Reeds older brother, seems to constantly try to throw her off his path. God, he enraged me. There are a couple of times in this book you will just wanna shake the characters and yell to them that they should know better but there was something very satisfying about watching it play out the way it did. Cannot wait for the second part of this Duet! 📕🧨👏🏻🔥

Summer Heat Wave by Lauren Smith
This was the perfect book to read out by the pool one day. It is filled with humor and lust and dangerous “fake”foreplay that leads to some explosive heat! What starts as a phony relationship between Blair & Denver turns into a sexy buildup of want and need. I loved his claim over her. He was so possessive, especially in bed, and Blair is like putty in his hands. Who can blame her?! Lauren set the tone of this book with a family feud and as we all know, the more you are told you can’t have something, the more you want it. This book was everything I didn’t know I needed on a hot summer day!

I’m Still Alive by Jade Austin
What a thrill ride this vampire story is! Azalea is a new vampire and you really see her struggles in coming to terms with her new reality. Her character is strong and very engaging and I loved her interactions with Chad, Conner and Florence. I found myself loving some characters more than others, but what’s a good story without some sort of an antagonist? Behind every page is a new twist and a new turn and the way that Jade writes makes you just want to swallow this vampire world whole. It’s like you cannot get enough. I love that you saw glimpses into their forbidden life like with vampire orgies, and I really enjoyed that the passion seemed to be deeper than one of a human connection. The story never dragged, the plot was intricate and exciting and the chemistry built between the characters was explosive. Seriously, a breath of fresh air when it comes to fantasy, vampire novels.

Hard to Love by K. Bromberg
While this book is part of the Play Hard series, you definitely don’t need to read the others to follow this one (but you should, because they’re all awesome). That being said, this is Finn’s redemption story. Finn has shown up in the other books in the series as the villain you love to hate. There were glimpses of his good side in the last couple of books, but he’s definitely an ass. Enter Stevie, the star tennis player going through a hard time after the death of her father. They hook up, they fight, they get along, they hook up, they fight, rinse and repeat. Their banter is fun and their chemistry is undeniable. The story is really about Stevie’s growth but Finn comes to terms with a lot of his issues, too. As always, K. Bromberg gives us an emotional and steamy love story.

Summer Lovin’ by Laurelin Paige and Kaytee McGee
I have absolutely adored this series! I related to Chloe so much in the way that she learned how to be an adult and ultimately how to put herself and her needs first. I was on the fence about who I wanted her to end up with, but in the end, I love how her story turned out. She got her HEA but winning at love was just part of it. 20-something year old me would have totally been friends with Chloe. This cast of characters has been amazing, each giving so much to the story. Laurelin Paige and Kaytee McGee hit it out of the park with this series!

Watching Her by Josephine Andersen
This fast paced insta-connection romance between Roman and Genevieve will have you flipping the pages so fast, your fingers will get “book burn”. The chemistry between them is so intense and wild. From the moment he sees her in the woods, he knows he needs her in some sense. He brings a calm to her world, making her feel safe and loved. They cannot keep their hands off one another and it delivers some super hot scenes that are incredibly descriptive and possessive in nature. It does have daddy kink in it but it plays very well off fo the innocent virgin vibe. Josephine Andersen’s writing definitely kept me engaged from beginning to end!

Chasing Serenity by Kristen Ashley
I am head over heels in love with this book. Not just Judge and Chloe, but the entire extended family. I already know this series is going to be epic! Judge and Chloe start off hating each other, but opposites attract, and before long, they can’t deny the chemistry. There’s a lot of sweet, romantic moments, a lot of heat and a ton of family drama. Chasing Serenity is a KA novel through and through and her fans will adore it…the family ties, the love and the sexiness explode off the pages. I’m already invested in the secondary characters and I can not wait to see how their love stories unfold.

Apartment 29 by Jules Hunter
First off, this is a new to me author, and you all know I love to discover new authors! Second, while I don’t really read fantasy/paranormal stories, I was extremely intrigued with the synopsis! The characters in this book were engaging, intriguing and really fun! I loved the layers of this story, with the different mates and how they all revolved around Jade. I adored her character. She’s hilarious, witty, sexy and strong. She takes no shit and is so in tune with herself. I have to say it was so refreshing to see a powerful female lead harnessing their sexual energy. She really comes into her own and I loved every minute of it.

Dirty Diana by January James
Anyone else ever fantasize about what it’s like in a sex club? No? Just me? Well, let me tell you, if you’ve been wondering, this book is where it’s at. January James designed a sexual heroine like no other and Dirty Diana. I loved how she took on a whole new persona in the club. She was fierce and sassy and so in touch with her carnal side. Her and Jude’s story isn’t just sex though. There is a underlying suspenseful tone to this book which just adds to the levels of excitement. I loved how their real life was expertly woven into their fantasy life. I read this book in one day ~ I promise you will do the same!

Give Me a Reason by A.L. Jackson
Ugh!!! My God I loved everything about the story. It’s raw. It’s emotional. It’s hot! Trent and Eden’s love is so beautiful and undeniable and while it seems like it shouldn’t work, it 100% does. I fell head over heels with Trents character. A bad boy trying to break free from his past who doesn’t think anything good should come to him in life. ALL THE FEELS! 🤗🤗🤗🤗 A.L. Jackson really made his character strong yet vulnerable but make not mistake, he is smoking hot! 🔥 Eden is everything he wants but doesn’t think he deserves but she knows they are meant to be together. Honestly, I couldn’t stop reading this book. The plot, the suspense, the sex, it all pulls you in and before you know it, you’ve got one addictive story.

Sparks by Yolanda Olson
This is the third chapter of the inferno series and it is probably the creepiest yet. It’s a very taboo subject matter, if you have yet to read the others I would definitely suggest you start there. This book is not for everyone as it deals with a mother son dynamic however, Yolanda always does such a perfect job of weaving together the horror aspects of a fobidden love story, no matter how messed up they are. Luke’s story is one of pure nightmares and destruction and meeting Mama Taylee opens a whole new chapter of crazy. I always say that there’s dark and then there’s Yolanda dark.

The Royals Next Door by Karina Halle
What a fun book! I went in expecting the Royals to be the focus of the story, but I was so pleasantly surprised that their Bodyguard is the hero! The royal couple is (not so) loosely based on Harry and Megan and their desire to escape royal life and the spotlight. But this rom-com is about their bodyguard and the quirky next door neighbor. It’s about getting out of your comfort zone and putting yourself out there. It’s sweet, funny and super steamy. The sexual tension between Harrison and Piper is INTENSE and when it explodes (all over the dryer), I was downright giddy. And hot. The Royals Next Door will have you swooning and smiling from beginning to end.

Judge Me by Abby Knox
This was a pretty hilarious read which caught me off guard, but in a great way. Chloe and Philip have a very interesting connection and backstory but it goes to show you that fate always finds a way. There’s an age difference here which led down the path of a “daddy” theme and the way she kind of drools all over him is a bit much at times but, I will say, the lust between them is super steamy. Even with the “daddy” taboo element, the story is worth the read!
-
Man Muscle by Stella Lang
I was in the mood for a fast paced, insta love story and Mindy and Harry did the trick! Her pull towards him is strong and overpowering from the start and he is more than happy to claim what is his. Their chemistry is sensual and explosive and I loved all the little details of this quick romance.
-
Kingly Bitten by Lexi C. Foss
Kingly Bitten is the next installment in Lexi C. Foss’s Blood Alliance series. Up to this point, the series consists of standalones, but in this book it really helps to have read the others before it. Jace and Calina have absolutely explosive chemistry, and the events that play out are nothing short of explosive. Grab this one today – you won’t regret it!

The Good Lie by A.R. Torre
I’m a romance book girl at heart, but I LOVE a good psychological thriller. A.R. Torre has a gift for weaving these dark, twisted, suspenseful stories. The Good Lie is no exception. I was hooked from the first page and didn’t put the book down until I was finished. The story revolves around Gwen, a psychiatrist who treats people with the urge to kill, and Robert, an attorney who lost his son to a serial killer. There are so many twists and turns to this story that you won’t want to stop reading until all of the questions are answered. It’s pretty violent and gory, I think Torre may have been a crime scene investigator in her former life with the details she gives. The way she slowly puts the puzzle together one agonizing piece at a time is absolute perfection. The Good Lie is a MUST-READ for fans of this genre.

The Guardian by Kimberly Kincaid
Kimberly Kincaid always delivers a suspense filled romance packed with action, steam, and the best brooding alpha males. Matteo really delivers in that area. He is known to be quite irritable and cranky, but there’s so much more to him than what meets the eye. Delia finally gets her chance with him, and it is everything she had dreamt about and more. Their chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥! I also really loved the secondary characters and really enjoyed the ongoing suspense. The story is definitely full of fun and danger, and if you’re like me and enjoy a protective male lead, then you need to read Matteo and Delia’s story!
-
Opaque Melodies by Natalie Bennett
As she always does, Natalie Bennett seduced me with her words in Opaque Melodies. Catalina is like a firecracker 🧨 and Alaric seems to be the fire 🔥 that lights the fuse. There is a deep darkness associated with their story and Natalie always does a seamless job making a tragic tale beautiful. Alaric is alluring and manipulative and the way he tries to play with Catalinas own hidden darkness is twisted and intriguing. The lines of reality become blurred and I am wondering if things aren’t as they seem to be.

Spring Fever by Laurelin Paige & Kayti McGee
I am absolutely OBSESSED with this series. I have really enjoyed Chloe’s wild dating ride through the seasons and I’m so happy that she’s found a great guy in Logan. I’ve loved watching her grow into her best self and now she has a big decision to make. The Dating Season series continues to be funny and sexy with each book unique in it’s own way. I can’t wait to see which path Chloe chooses, but wither way, I know she’ll get her HEA!

The Touch of a Villain by Holly Renee
There’s something so intoxicating about an enemies to lovers story. I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to Beck and Josie. There’s a complex layered plot which sets the tone for Becks dislike of Josie‘s family, and it really provides superb angst and tension. Even for a young adult storyline, the chemistry and explosive heat between these two makes you feel like you are dealing with full grown adults who have been through some shit. There is drama, lust, heartache and so much more. I love it when a bad ass guy who is used to getting his way, encounters a girl who can hold her own, and Josie certainly can. I am jumping right into book number two!

Snake by Scarlett Black
This story is HOT! 🔥 I was counting the seconds until Snake and Selena were ripping their clothes off. I love how he is so rough around the edges and how she compliments him in her own toughness. They both have their own issues and that adds to the level of suspense. Seeing her interact with his family though was one of my favorite parts of their story. Their dynamic is explosive and I questioned at times if tempers and secrets were going to destroy what they here trying to have before it even had a chance to start. I loved every second of their highly combustible MC love story!

Making Their Vows by Jessa Kane
So, I am not a big “daddy” reader but Jessa Kane made it work in this story. It was easy to overlook the “daddy” and focus on Grace and North. They were feverishly attracted to one another, an instant chemical reaction triggered in both. Their first time hooking up is off the charts 🔥🔥🔥 and it just spirals from there. Even though it is a short story, there is a great mix of angst (with her dad getting involved) in the storyline which doesn’t seem rushed at all. The sex scenes are ridiculously hot and Jessa Kane’s writing leaves nothing to the imagination which made for one yummy bad boy story.

The Spark by Vi Keeland
Vi Keeland has one it again! Donovan Decker is my new favorite book boyfriend. I fell hard for him as soon as he was introduced, but I loved him even more as we learned more about his back story. That being said, it took me a long time to like Autumn, she had a ton of baggage and was basically dating someone the entire time her relationship with Donovan was developing. She eventually won me over once she finally got it together. There’s a lot of heart and even more heat in this story, and the slow burn of their romance will keep you glued to the pages.

The Mixtape by Brittainy Cherry
Anyone else live their lives in music lyrics? I do… and my mixtape is a compilation of some ups, downs and round and rounds for sure! This book… man, this book put that thang down, flip it and reverse it too, making the title very apropos to the storyline. Oliver is desperately lost in the darkest corners of his mind. Emery is struggling and barely keeping her head above water as well. Then one night their worlds collide, changing everything and making them face the demons of their pasts so they can both not only deal with the present, but also to even create a spark of hope for their futures. Brittainy Cherry writes broken people better than most authors would even dare. The Mixtape is one of her best tracks in this regard and I’m gluttonous for it! If you enjoy stories that take you through a symphony of emotions, this book does not disappoint. I suggest you add it to your playlist ASAP!
