  • Brutes by Teagan Kade

This box set is filled with yummy goodness! It is the complete Beckett Brothers series and it is worth every penny. Each story has its own plot and characters.
Long Game follows Cayden – a college football player- and his relationship with Indy. Lots of twists and learning throughout this story, but the payoff is beautiful.
Brute was my FAVORITE out of the four. I fell hard for Mason! He is so rugged and intense and I loved watching him try and stay away from Jeanie. They are powerful together and so hot!
Puck Buddies follow Haper & Colton and this was a passion filled one. They each have so much emotional turmoil individually that together, it is explosive!
And finally, Hunter and Grace in Vice. I mean, who doesn’t love a hot detective story? Sex was off the charts and I could not put this one down!
DO NOT MISS this collection of stories. Seriously one of the sexiest box sets out there right now!

  • Crushing on the Cop by Piper Rayne

I am enjoying the premise behind this series, the friends buying a date for their besties and the girls fighting the dates and the attraction of the men. Veronica refused to go on a date with Cristian all through book 1 and into this one. When she finally gives in, she pushes Cristian out of his comfort zone, making him loosen up as the tight-assed cop. Then, Cristian helps Veronica realize her worth and that he has chosen to date her not because of a dare or prize, but because he can’t stop thinking about her and his future. We get to see his brothers and the funny moments they have together, making fun of each other, and also supporting each other during the relationship issues.

  • Sofa King Hard by Madison Faye

Anything by Madison Faye is a must read for me. I’ve learned to love and crave her filth, always knowing what to expect and always exceeding my expectations. This is an insta-lust story that jumps right into the sex and that is exactly what I was looking for! Retired Marine Kane lays eyes on Jillian and the rest is some hot as hell history. He talks DIRTY and it gives you those feel-good tingles allllllll over! I loved how even though it was quick read, you got enough background on the characters to connect and be engaged in the story line. Super hot and to the point!

  • Timid by Devney Perry

So technically this book is rated contemporary, but in all honesty I found it more NA (new adult) so I tagged it with both for this recommendation. That being said, Devney is a beautiful writer and no matter the genre, I will gobble up her words every single time! Timid is true to it’s title… a heartwarming story about 2 very different people, afraid of stepping out of their comfort zones, who find their true and best selves through loving one another. In addition, it has some exciting and unexpected twists and turns that keep you engaged and rooting for their HEA along the way. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to the next few in this series.

  • Chastely Bitten by Lexi C. Foss

Lexi C. Foss is an absolute Goddess among mortals, and her stories will suck you in, drag you through the wringer, and spit you out on the other side, forever changed, with more darkness in your soul, but actually feeling happy about it! Chastely Bitten is darker than her Immortal Curse series, but it’s completely addictive. Darius and Juliet’s story is a super-hot, intoxicating roller coaster ride that you won’t want to end. Read it today!!!

  • Fall by Kristen Callihan

The tortured and depressed front man in the VIP series got his HEA and it was amazing. Kristen’s writing had me a bit teary-eyed, but then she’d give me some great comic relief and hot kissing to bring my mood back up. I highlighted whole passages that hit me in the feels, and not just the sexy times. Jax and Stella were perfect together, both battling demons and loneliness to finally find their other half.
I’ve loved every book in this series, Kristen has such unique meet-cutes for her couples. They have all been so different, yet still had things I’ve loved the same across all the books. This group of rock stars and their friends will give you a book hangover you won’t forget.

  • An Inconvenient Dare by Bethany Lopez

Oh man, I wanted SO MUCH MORE of Enrique and Vanessa! I loved the chemistry between them. It all starts with a dare and ends with a sexy HEA! The dynamic between them played out so easily. I love effortless, believable relationships, especially in a novella. This is a quick read but it tells a great story,

  • Listen Pitch by Lani Lynn Vale

Lani writes great bikers and emergency personnel, but I’ve been loving her baseball players. We get more action in this one because Rhys’ family was in the Mafia, and he’s trying to steer clear of that. Of course, the bad guys have to try to ruin the HEA. Rhys and Henley’s romance started out so unique, it was part neighbors-to-lovers and also fake-fiancee-to-real-wife, and so much in between. I don’t want to say too much else without spoiling the twists, but this is a roller coaster of a romance story and you will not want to miss it.

  • Dane by K Webster

I usually read anything by K Webster. As a fan of the dark and taboo, it usually doesn’t get any better for me than her. This book was not dark, but it took on a life of its own. Dane is such an alpha, it radiates off the page. He is masculine and powerful even when going through a tough time. Nick is an alpha in his own way but I loved how sweet he tried to be towards Dane. They play off each other so well and I really enjoyed how the story focused on their love & support for one another as they began exploring life together. There is no doubt about the way they crave each other. HOLY HELL! The story is complex with a lot of different angles but it plays out beautifully.

  • When Forever Changes by Siobhan Davis

I cannot believe how emotional this book made me! I was in the mood for a deep story and Siobhan delivered the kind that literally destroys you but you love every second of being ripped apart because the love in the book is just unbearable. Gabby, Dylan & Slater have all known each other since they were young. There is a relationship between Gabby & Dylan that becomes toxic and then Slater enters the picture (event though he has been there forever). I could not stop reading this book. I wanted SO much for Gabby and yet found myself unsure of what the best thing was for her. And Slater. OH SLATER! My heart hurt for him in so many ways. This is not just a deep, emotionally charged love story. There are twists and things you do not see coming which leave you completely in awe. I cried so much during this book, but it was so worth every tear!

  • Close by Laurelin Paige

Close is the first in a new Rocker Series from Laurelin Paige. Young rocker (think Joe Jonas) falls head over heels for a Hollywood A-lister in her mid-30s. What starts as a smoking hot one night stand turns into secret rendezvous and down-and-dirty sexting. Nick and Natalia have great chemistry and his dirty mouth is every woman’s dream. At the same time, his gestures are so sweet and romantic. Grab an extra pair of panties for this read, you’ll need them.

  • Not Until You by Corinne Michaels

This was a sweet, sexy and funny read! Not Until You is a standalone, but apparently there are 2 other books that came before with the same cast of characters that I now need to read because Nicole’s best friends were my favorite part of this story! They reminded me so much of my own besties… crass, hilarious, sarcastic, 100% supportive and brutally honest when need be, I absolutely LOVED them! This story had a little sprinkle of every ingredient that make the recipe for today’s popular contemporary romances. Hot foreign millionaire, sassy heroine, off the charts chemistry, a few conundrums and a few surprises that I won’t share cause it’ll spoil the story. Overall this is a solid, feel good book that I would absolutely recommend reading.

  • Sir Loin Of Beef by Vanessa Vale

Vanessa knows how to write a naughty ménage, with 2 men knowing the perfect amount of dirty talk and being sweet to their woman. Jed and Duke grew up together, knowing they’d always share the perfect woman, and when they spy Kaitlyn, they start the process of winning her from the minute she says hello. I like how Vanessa shows the strong family Duke comes from, who don’t care he is sharing a woman with Jed. They welcome her into their hearts immediately, even if Kaitlyn isn’t sure that they should. There wasn’t excessive drama or angst, and when the characters mess up, the others are quick to forgive. You will probably be reading one-handed with this one.

  • Five Years Gone by Marie Force

If you’ve ever lost someone unexpectedly this book will hit you in the feels SO HARD! The sorrow, the self doubt, feeling frozen in time without any direction to turn to… sigh, been there and felt it so deeply on this journey Marie so eloquently weaved. Even if you haven’t, this beautiful story, written in multiple POV’s about loss, grief, healing, strength, letting go, learning to love again and ultimately hope will have you in angsty knots wondering when the ball will drop. And when it does, OH BOY, your heart will wrench for these characters… emotions all over place, not even sure if you want the HEA or not! Gotta say, I’m thrilled there will be a sequel because my heart was bleeding in the end and begging for the pain and suffering of one particular character to be resolved. This book was not what I expected, it was so much more!

  • Shared by Krista Wolf

This was an enjoyable, fun read about Claudia and three college boys! Brandon, Colin & Hunter work out a deal with her while renovating a house and when they all find each other under one roof, lots of sexiness happens! Claudia tries her hardest to keep the dynamic between them just friends, but she finds herself in some pretty interesting situations that she cannot resist. Loved the humor in the story and the way it all comes together in the end.

  • In This Moment by A. D. McCammon

I wanted to try out reading some of our showcase authors before #Shameless18, so I found this one by A. D. McCammon, and I really enjoyed it! In This Moment is a slow burning, friends to lovers story. Brenden is a super hot, kickboxing leading man that will melt your panties so hard that you will not hesitate to add him to your list of book boyfriends, and Lizzy is a heroine you can relate to if you have ever lost someone you have loved. Watching his patience with her as she heals her heart and learns to love again is sometimes frustrating, sometimes heart-warming, and always swoon worthy. Pick this one up today, and you will not regret it!!!

  • Take Me in the Night by R.L. Kenderson

RL Kenderson wove a great 2nd chance romance about 2 kids from the opposite sides of the tracks who are ripped apart by lies. I loved that Addy was strong and changed her life when Maddox was wrongly convicted so she could help others in his situation. Even though they thought the worst of each other, their love had never dimmed and the chemistry kept them coming back for more. Maddox sneaking into Addy’s apartment was super hot, and their relationship had no issues blossoming again once his alpha protector senses couldn’t leave her alone to be in danger. I really hope we get a second book between Maddox’s SEAL teammate and the lawyer, they brought the perfect humor into a tense time of the book.

  • Love At First Sight by Mia Ford

Logan and Tamara meet while taking the train one day and it quickly snowballs into a roller coaster ride of a romance. It is bumpy in the beginning. Both are not on any clear individual paths in life, but it smooths out eventually and they get to know one another. It is an insta-love connection for Logan and it just continues to build as the story goes on. They are adorable together, very sweet and naive. I would have loved a bit more character development but overall, straightforward, cute and filled with steamy moments!

  • Talkin’ Trash by Lani Lynn Vale

Linc and Conleigh’s romance was a funny friends-to-lovers story with some suspense added in to keep it spicy. I loved all the characters and Linc and Conleigh are both 2nd generation Lani Lynn Vale characters. You do see a few people from 2 other series but you don’t need to know anything beforehand. Linc has been warned off of dating Conleigh and he finally decides to push back and go for the woman that owns his heart. Now, he just has to convince her since he’s friend-zoned her for the past several years. Once they get together, their chemistry explodes and their relationship moves at lightning speed, which makes for some hilarious scenes.

  • Fragments of Ash by Katy Regnery

I like that this series from Katy Regnery is all standalone romances with no overlapping characters or worlds, as I haven’t read every single book yet. You won’t need to in order to immerse yourself in this story, biting your nails as you hope that Ash won’t get caught, and then swooning over Julian falling in love with her. An added bonus to the story was how Katy incorporated the diary from Ash’s mom, it helps you understand her choices that affected Ash. Since this is told in dual POV, you can see how Julian changes from a surly young man who detests having Ash around, into a loving and sweet man who wants to protect her. Also, we see Ash grow from a naive teenager and not feeling safe into a woman that is loved and protected.

  • Blood Bonds by Lexi C. Foss

The fifth book in the Immortal Cures series is another masterful example of what Lexi C. Foss is so good at – a mind blowing revelation of limited answers, while she simultaneously raises additional questions!!! I am so far in love with this series that it borders on obsession. Reading the fifth book only made me want to go back and re-read the first four books, and then pound down her door until she releases the sixth! Caro and Sethios’s story is so full of love, sexy times, and make-you-cry moments that it’s impossible to put down. If you aren’t reading this series, you need to start it today, and you won’t be sorry!

  • Dane’s Storm by Mia Sheridan

I have a confession to make… Mia Sheridan is my favorite author, I’m her self professed #1 fan, she’s my unicorn, my read without question, the writer that speaks to my soul more than any other, etc! That being said, Dane’s Storm came out in Audible back in March and I don’t do Audible, so I waited patiently for it to come out in other formats. In addition, I’ve had a signed paperback copy of this heart wrenching story in my greedy little hands since July when I saw Mia in person at BB in Denver, BUT I didn’t read that copy either. WHY you might ask? Well, my signed books are precious to me and I didn’t want to muck up the pages, LOL! BUT, you best believe the second this bad boy released in e-book I read it in one helping as soon as it hit my kindle!

Sigh…Dane and Audra, they fit the Sign of Love Cancer so very well with such amazing proud hearts, such heartbreaking circumstances, such stubborn minds (my son’s a Cancer so I know this sign well)! I feel like this was a very intimate look into this story that felt like it could be real; a story you’d read about in the news and wonder how 2 people could be so strong, so selfless, so focused and determined. It will tug at your heartstrings, make you gasp at the severity of events as they unfold and ultimately make you a believer that love, true love is undying. It perseveres above all conflict, it will haunt you if you deny it, it will heal you when you open to it and it is all that truly matters in this journey we call life. Another masterpiece Mia!!!

  • Medicine Man by Saffron A Kent

I honestly did not know what to expect when diving into Medicine Man by Saffron Kent. I mean, I adore her writing and all but mental health issues are such a tricky subject and one that hits close to home for me. I think she tackled the subject beautifully and I loved the intricate details she included conveying the seriousness of the subject. Willow is 18 and has been battling depression for a long time. When her path crosses with Simon’s in the psychiatric hospital, forbidden lines are crossed that alter both of their lives forever. There is angst, struggle, turmoil but so much passion. Because of the sensitivity of the surroundings they are in, Saffron does an impeccable job of being hyper aware of the risk of mixing love and mental illness in her writing. There is nothing careless about this story. It is a powerful one that is highly realistic and moving.

  • Perversion by T.M. Frazier

There are very few authors I’ll go dark for…T.M. Frazier is one of them. There’s even fewer authors that I’ll go cliffy for, that being said.. CLIFFY CLIFFY CLIFFY CLIFFY CLIFFY!!! Now that I got that out of the way, wow. This book is painted in a dystopian society where only the strong and twisted survive. This dark spin on a classic Romeo and Juliet scenario, takes you through the history of 2 young survivors, shrouded by darkness, cursed by consequence, destined for violence, but ultimately touched by a serendipitous connection that they just can’t deny. It’s gritty, it’s criminal and it’s utterly delicious! Now give me book 2 damn it!!!

T.M. Fraizer is one of the very few authors I read without even thinking twice about. She never disappoints where a dark story line is concerned and she knows all the right ways to break your heart, but leave you begging for more. Tristan and Emma’s story makes you feel every emotion there is. They were drawn together at such a young age and that undeniable connection cannot be lost. The world around them in a sick and twisted one and the hardships thrown their way prove to be difficult. My heart broke for Emma and her struggles but Tristan’s bond to her was such a positive force. DEAR GOD THE ENDING! I love to hate a good cliffhanger and my head almost exploded! Looks like this will be another series I adore by T.M.!

  • Desolate by Autumn Grey

Autumn Grey, what have you done to me?!? I am afraid after finishing Desolate, I will NEVER be the same. The book was insanely addicting and powerful. I have never loved two characters more than I did while reading about Sol and Grace. My god, the feelings and angst were unbearable at times. Sol is torn between his love for God and his faith and his adoration and all consuming pull towards Grace. The story between these two is one for the ages. It is young love. The kind that is sweet and innocent, pure and wholesome. They each are finding themselves and figuring out their wants and needs while exploring each other and their connection. I ugly cried while reading this book, IT IS THAT GOOD! “I willingly gave you the power to unravel me because I loved the way it felt when you put me back together. I’m addicted to that feeling, and it’s destroying me. Destroying us.” I MEAN REALLY!?? Do you feel the emotion in that? Can you hear the tortured soul and the love that is overflowing out of every syllable? Autumn Grey, you always pull me in with your beautiful covers, but you win me over with your poetic words of warmth and intimacy. Now give me the second book!!!

  • Tease by Alexis Anne

I had a ton of fun reading this book! Adam is a book boyfriend who is able to give up control to his woman, and Elizabeth is a woman who knows how to take it from him. Their story has so many sexy times! Watching them go from fuck buddies to friends to lovers is an amazing journey that I found impossible to step away from. And did I mention there are so many sexy times in this book? So many sexy times!!! You have got to read this one today!!!

  • Runaway Girl by Tessa Bailey

I hated Naomi in Getaway Girl. I didn’t even know her, but I hated her. What spoiled brat would leave a perfect man at the alter? But that’s what she is, a spoiled, vapid, trophy wife to be. And that’s where her journey starts. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with her. Her spunk and fight remind me of the Southern Belles who raised me. Throw in the sexy alpha military man taking care of his hilarious but sad little sister and you get the perfect story of growth and redemption. And the fact that the story took place in a little town just down the road from my house was the cherry on top.

I loved how Tessa kept Naomi’s Southern sensibilities even in the face of the hotness of Jason. She didn’t have her jump right into bed with him and oh boy the build-up was tortuous. I loved watching her grow from the naive debutante-future-trophy-wife into a business owner who wanted to try all the things before real life intruded. My favorite scenes had to be her pageant coaching, helping a teenage girl heal and also seeing this big tough Special Forces man help out, too. Tessa gave us another alpha hero who loved to protect everyone in his life, which now included Naomi. He did have a habit of saving her when she didn’t need it because she was in the process of trying something out for the first time, but that just made you laugh and sigh like a love-sick teenager.

  • Long Hard Truckers by Madison Faye

I read Madison Faye for one reason & one reason only. HOTTER THAN HOT SEX! She always gets dirty and raunchy and I love every second of it! Sierra finds herself in a less than ideal situation and lucky for her, two ex marines are there to rescue her. Tucker and Walker set this book on fire with their sex appeal and ruggedness. The moment they got their hands on her (literally), the book just exploded with dirty, truck stop sex that got hotter and hotter with every turn of the page. There is also a lot of story to this book and it made a few twists and turns I didn’t expect. Enjoy this wild ride!

  • A Nordic King by Karina Halle

Not gonna lie, the prologue to this story made me cry. Like 3 paragraphs in it hit too close to home and I was sobbing like a baby. But bygones, because by the end of this book (which I read in 1 sitting) I was a believer of fairy tales. I even dreamt of quitting my job and becoming a nanny the very same night, LOL! Karina Halle has a way of writing that is magical in a realistic sense and real in a magical way. Hot, widowed, single dad who happens to be a king, sassy strong minded heroine, 2 adorable little princesses, fantastic supporting characters and #teamsnarfsnarf… blend in some humor, some angst and some hot AF scenes and you’ve got a romance story, just the way I like it.

  • Forbidden by Amelia Gates

Forbidden romances are my favorite and Amelia Gates sure knows how to write them! Kim is strong, fierce and so aware of herself and her emotions. Her connection to Zayne is instant and intense and even though he is a senior in high school, the pull between them is undeniable. They face a lot of ups & downs, with the struggles coming at them from all angles. Their lust for one another was sweet and emotional and I enjoyed seeing a real connection there. This story flowed perfectly and I walked away really happy and satisfied with the outcome.
