  • Hidden Seams by Alessandra Torre

Wow. This book had me hooked after the first paragraph. I’m sure you’ve heard that a lot, but THIS BOOK HAD ME HOOKED AFTER THE FIRST PARAGRAPH! Alessandra Torre always delivers a unique, well written story with complex characters and twisting story lines. Hidden Seams gives us both, and along with some VERY steamy and erotic sexual encounters, makes it one of favorites from her. Marco and Avery’s crazy relationship will have you laughing and cringing and sweating all the way to the end.

  • Amid the Winter Snow by Thea Harrison,‎ Grace Draven,‎ Elizabeth Hunter,‎ Jeffe Kennedy

Oh, this anthology was perfect! It had both PNR and fantasy romance stories, just the perfect mix for me. I don’t have a favorite because each author wrote a wonderful story that made me feel so much… love, hate, sadness, and happiness. I have funny, sweet, and touching quotes highlighted for each author, it was hard to narrow down which ones to use. They can be read as standalones, but I highly recommend reading about the worlds that are mentioned. You will not be disappointed.

  • Our Dirty Little Princess by Scarlett Avery

You get TWO sexy as hell alpha males in this book and they bring the heat. I really loved how fierce Brandon and Holden pursued Amelia. Their need for her was so hot and desire filled, just reading the build up was enough to push me over the edge. Scarlett has mastered blending dirty talk and intense drama, combining the two perfectly into a lust filled, action packed story.

  • Sex, Not Love by Vi Keeland

I love a book with crazy sexual tension, and this book has it in spades! Hunter and Nat dance around each other for months before they (she) finally give in. Nat’s plate is full and Hunter has a secret reason for his fear of commitment. Once again, Vi Keeland delivers a book filled with romance, heat and emotion. It’s a winner!

  • Married To My Master by Nicole Fox

This story dove right into the darker depths of romance early on. Nicole Fox painted a deeply twisted picture of what a PTSD victim deals with, in terms of good versus evil behavior. It was intense reading about Dane as he acknowledges his actions are wrong but continuously fulfills his urges on his “task at hand.” After all, that is what he’s been trained to do. Emily was such a feisty character and she struggles at the beginning to succumb to his will, but ultimately her body and mind betray her. This is a sexy, twisted read that will keep you intrigued till the very end.

  • Ace by Laramie Briscoe

Ace has been the fun guy, and as his buddies started settling down, he realized he was missing out. He helps save Violet from her abusive husband, and even though he wants to take over her life to make it easier, he lets her find herself again. This is a slow burn from rescuer to friends to lovers, and I enjoyed Ace and Violet’s romance, especially when they both agreed not to take their relationship to the next level until Violet is divorced. A lot of books would have skipped over that or had them falling into bed the minute the heroine was saved. Laramie did a great job with these characters and even though it can be read as a standalone, you will get so much more enjoyment if you read the other stories first because you see each couple again and again.

  • Tall, Dark, and Vampire by Sara Humphreys

I have to say, when it comes to strong female leads, Sarah Humphreys’ Olivia Hollingsworth is my new favorite. Intelligent, compassionate, and impeccably dressed, Olivia runs her night club with precision and protects her “family” with all the the fierceness a 300-year-old vampire can impart. This paranormal tale is filled with interesting characters, lots of action, and enough sexual tension to start a friction fire! I mean, who doesn’t love a few leather-clad sentries and a hot redhead? Olivia proves to everyone, especially Detective Paxton, that she’s no damsel in distress. [January 2018]

  • Office Intrigue Duet (Office Intrigue and Intrigued Out of the Office) by Nicole Edwards

Even though it’s a duet of two books, it reads like one long book. This starts as a typical office romance, but turns into a BDSM fantasy. Lucy discovers her love for the lifestyle and finds herself the submissive of not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Doms. She learns the ropes (pun intended) and finds that she is falling for each man. These books are beyond kinky. Deliciously kinky, but also angsty and romantic. If you’re a fan of BDSM romance, immediately add the Office Intrigue Duet to your TBR.

  • Breaking Point by Autumn Grey

I originally picked up this anthology to read Breaking Point by Autumn Grey, but honestly all the stories in here are worth a read. Breaking Point is about young love. The kind of love that gives you butterflies and has you thinking about all sorts of silly things. Touching someone’s hand for the first time, first kisses, and wondering if he meant to brush up against you. Mason is very sensitive, but so in tune with himself and his feelings. I love his character. Asher is the opposite. He’s confused, complicated and still trying to please everyone else before himself. Mason knows that he is attracted to boys while Asher is still discovering it. Their interactions are messy, sweet and so thrilling that even I found myself blushing and giggling at the naïveness of it all. I cannot wait to read more of their story. Give this anthology a try! Not only do all the proceeds get donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and NAMI, but the stories are pretty amazing.

  • Brave by Jennifer Armentrout

I have a complete and total girl crush on Jennifer Armentrout, so I was DYING for Brave to come out. It’s the third book in a trilogy that started with Wicked and then continued in Torn, and it did not disappoint. The story was wrapped up beautifully, and with more than a couple of twists that left me sitting there with my mouth open, staring at my kindle. And the chemistry between Ivy and Ren is as red hot as always. I cried for them when they were having issues, I laughed at them when they were playful with each other, and I was caught up in their chemistry as much as they were. You totally need to check out this series! ~Jean [January 2018]

  • My Dirty Boss by Elaine May

What a kinky thrill ride! I was a little hesitant in the beginning with the pace of the story but it quickly picked up and before I knew it I was knee deep in Daniel & Beth’s world. Beth is looking to stray from her comfort zone after a hard breakup and Daniel is trying to tone his life done a tad to please his parents. They collide and their needs and wants match up perfectly. Elaine hand delivers some amazing dirty kink that will leave you smiling and satisfied.

  • Misadventures of a Good Wife by Meredith Wild and Helen Hardt

The Misadventures books are like candy, a sweet, sinful indulgence. I loved this one because of the suspenseful story on top of the romance and heat we’ve come to expect from this series. I instantly fell in love with Kate and Price and their reunion kept me glued to the pages. This is the perfect book if you’re looking for something to keep you warm this weekend! [January 2018]

  • Breaking Belle (Princess After Dark Book 2) by Isabella Starling

If you have a Disney princess fantasy of the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast, this is the read for you! Isabella Starling writes a sexy take following Belle, who was taken from her family because they owed a debt to Dominic Blackwood, the beast. He spends his days luring her in. Enticing her. Seducing her. But will she cave? Will she love the beast in the end? All in all, a delicious read and I’m looking forward to the next by Isabella Starling!! ~ Theresa [January 2018]

  • Mister McHottie by Pippa Grant

For a brand new author, Pippa has a new fan for life. I laughed so much while reading this book. Ambrosia and Chase’s antics were hilarious, as well as all the secondary characters. One word: glitterbomb! Her brothers will have you choking on your laughter and I cannot wait to read their stories. There is insta-lust and hate-fucking, all over the office, an MLB game suite, a library, even a stockroom at a bar. Pippa gives us a great backstory for both characters, and you can see why they start with the angry sex before realizing they want each other. Well, I should say, Chase decides he’s always loved her and needs to woo (which is hilarious) Ambrosia to see his side of things. I wish it had been longer!

  • Dirty Deeds by Stella Rhys

Stella writes such great characters, and surprises me when I expect the story to go a different way. I liked that there wasn’t too much drama once they got back together. Aly did have plenty of anxiety about their relationship since she never felt like she was good enough for Emmett, but I thought Stella did a good job with the writing in not blowing it out of proportion and making it annoying. Emmett was so sweet to Aly, but he had no problem ordering her around in the bedroom… HOT.

  • Mine by Chloe Lynn Ellis

I absolutely loved Dylan, Jack, and Cate’s story! The dynamic between the three of them was filled with passion and intensity and while, at times, it seemed a little too perfect, their relationship kept me pulled in til the very end. This was my first read by Chloe Lynn Ellis and she definitely knows how to write some hot, menage sex scenes. Her character development is what won me over and I cannot wait to read more from her!

  • Possessing Beauty by Madison Faye

I don’t know what was hotter… The dirty talk coming out of Rourke‘s mouth or how his body backed up every single thing he said to Colette! Their dynamic is fun to read from the first chapter and I loved their playful banter and foreplay. This was a hot, quick read packed with passion, lust, action and even a few twists you don’t see coming.

  • Collaring Cinderella (Princess After Dark Book 1) by Isabella Starling

I was in the mood for something quick & dirty and Isabella Starling delivered! Collaring Cinderella is a ridiculously sexy take on the classic tale with a “Prince Charming” that made me blush from the first sentence. I am not even lying, he sets the tone of the book by stating how he already knows his cock is going to be “balls deep inside her tight virgin pussy.” Cue my thighs clenching! If you are looking for an insta-love story filled with lust and an alpha who knows what he wants, look no further.

  • Cherish Hard by Nalini Singh

Nalini gives us another hot Bishop brother, and even though we met this couple in Rock Hard, I loved learning how Isa and Sailor fell in love. They are hot from their first meeting, and it is an awesome first kiss. Sailor and Isa have a great push-pull relationship, they both know what they want for the future and are blindsided by how much they need and want each other. Sailor is also funny in his interactions with Isa as he breaks down her walls and falls in love with her. I laughed at his antics to stay in her life, he could be sweet and annoyingly alpha at times, but in the end, I found another Bishop man to love.

  • The Biker’s Virgin by Michelle A. Valentine

Dear lord this story was HOT! Bikers, check. Alphas, check. Hot, dirty lust filled sex, CHECK! Cade & Piper were so incredible together. I loved reading about their struggle and passion. There is also a good amount of suspense in this book which makes the story that much more intense. Michelle A. Valentine delivers a scorcher guaranteed to warm up these cold winter nights!

  • House Rules by Lyssa Cole

Ugh, ALL the feels! Emma and Knox destroyed my heart in this book and I enjoyed every moment of it. What an amazing love story about self exploration, courage and the hardships of life. Lyssa really knows how to develop intriguing characters and grow them fully throughout the book creating a memorable journey for the reader. She proves that even House Rules are made to broken.

  • Complicated by Kristen Ashley

Kristen Ashley has a gift for creating characters that could be your friends IRL. This newly divorced Sheriff trying to navigate his new life as a single man with three teenagers and the hair dresser/lounge singer could be your neighbors. Hix and Greta enjoyed a hot night together and then had to deal with the small town gossip, half the town pushing them together and the other half taking the side of Hix’s ex. Throw in a murder, steamy sexy times and Greta’s train wreck of a Mom and we get a captivating story that will keep you glued to the pages.

  • Single Daddy Scot by Donna Alam

First, let me say, I had a slight hard time deciphering the language but the Wee Scots Dictionary in the back is PERFECT! Go read that first! I loved the story between single new Dad, Mac, and his newly hired nanny sweet, cheeky Ella. After I read the dictionary in the back, I even enjoyed the different word descriptions! I found myself saying, “Ah, fuck it all to shite” out loud and in my best scottish accent. Hilarious! Want a hot, humor filled read with a little bit of kink throw in? This is the one for you!! Plus there is a BONUS read in the back as well! Looking forward to your next one, Donna!. ~ Theresa [December 2017]

  • All He Wants For Christmas by Kati Wilde

Kati never disappoints in her stories and I loved this standalone romance for the holidays. Mia and Cole are hot together, and Cole is a total alpha cop who knows Mia is the only woman for him. Watching him convince her that they’re meant to be together will have you needing a fan because he has a dirty mind (and mouth.)

  • Block Party (A Twin Estates Novel Book 3) by Stylo Fantome

I’ve really enjoyed The Twin Estates series so far and was super happy to continue Liam’s story in the third book. The pages are filled with Stylo’s normal brilliance. A ton of emotional angst, passion and drama leads you on a wild ride, keeping you guessing if Liam & Ayumi are going to end up together. While Ayumi’s character wasn’t my favorite,I really loved reading the banter and underlying tension between her and Liam. Looking forward to Novel #4, Stylo!

  • Christmas Daddies by Jade West

Jade West delivers the perfect, sex filled Christmas present with this hot little novella! There’s so much sexual tension between Jackson and Jenny it’s insane! I love how tempting she is to him and how hard he fights himself to not cross that line. There is a whole lot of sex packed into this short story, you’ll be reading one handed for sure! Treat yourself this holiday season. You won’t be sorry!

  • Falling Fast by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Falling Fast was another great romance by Aurora, and I loved reading about Gia moving to a new town, starting over, and finding a new family in all the townspeople. Colton was another great alpha hero, though he was a bit more tortured and hesitant to claim Gia as his own in the beginning. Compared to other Aurora alphas, he was a slow mover but he still worked hard to convince Gia he wanted her in his life. Once they became a couple, they were hot together and Colton definitely had some swoon-worthy moments.

  • The Hookup by Kristen Ashley

I always finish a Kristen Ashley book with a big smile on my face. The Hookup is as romantic and sweet as it is hot. There’s just enough drama to keep you guessing and plenty of alpha-man goodness to keep the pages turning. I really hope the next in the series stars Johnny’s brother and Izzy’s sister! Pure KA goodness!

  • Romeo by Ruby Rowe

I love suspense mixed in with my romance so as soon as I read the blurb for Romeo, I knew this book was a must for me. When an author can give you a plot that is full of twists, emotional turmoil and hot as f*ck sex while keeping the flow of the story right on pace, you know you’ve found a winner. Ruby Rowe painted a picture of raw, heated sexual tension so perfectly that I was practically begging for Griffin and Ava to go at it. Each page had me more and more worked up and when it finally happens, well, trust me when I say it was worth the wait. Griffin can protect me with his body ANY DAY! Fantastic story line that kept me intrigued to the very end! Ruby Rowe is my Agatha Christie of dirty suspense.

  • Planting His Seed by Jenika Snow and Jordan Marie

Carson lost his best friend and agrees to be his daughters guardian. Unbeknownst to them both, its starts a lifetime of love. He and Jenny reunite after she finishes college and thus begin their journey. I enjoyed this quick, steamy read with an Alpha who knows what he wants and a girl who is willing to give him her all!!~ Theresa [December 2017]
