I love a good twist on a beloved fairytale and leave it to the Queen of dirty and depraved smut to create a take on Cinderella that will have you reading one handed. Winston and Ash had an agreement between them that leads down a path of possessive behavior and kinky shenanigans. Naturally, because it is a K. Webster book, there is a slight dip into the taboo pool but, it works perfectly into the story adding a layer of dirtiness that even a shower couldn’t wash off. I blew through this book in one night because I was insanely wrapped up in Winston’s desire for Ash, her struggle to be happy and how her step-brothers were going to ruin it all. The cliffhanger KILLED me, but I cannot wait for the second part of their story!

My Salvation by Stella Brie
My Salvation is one of those books that gives you a little bit of everything. The characters, storyline, sex scenes and even the past drama are all truly entertaining. I felt engaged the entire time. I really enjoyed Kates characters, even more so as I learned about her past. Watching her around Lev, Lowell, Shaw and Thayer made me giddy at times, Who doesn’t want to be surrounded by a bunch of hot retired military men? And when she finally gives into the temptation the story gets sexy as hell!

The Pearl by Tiffany Reisz
The Pearl is an erotic masterpiece. Not just erotic for shock factor, the scenes totally added depth to the overall story. Arthur and Regan’s chemistry was amazing and they fit together perfectly. While we get a little bit of a “ghost story”, The Pearl is not as over-the-top fantastical as the two connected books in the series. I loved the way that these connected stories were brought full circle in the end. Tiffany Reisz never disappoints!

Hard to Hold by K. Bromberg
There are two things you can guarantee from a K. Bromberg book, chemistry and feels. Hard to Hold has both in spades! Sparks flew for Rush and Lennox from the first time they set eyes on each other, especially since one of them was naked. π Their flirty banter made me smile and their heat made me melt, but the back story is what will make you fall in love with these characters. Lennox is fierce and determined to prove that a woman can make it in a male-dominated without having to use her looks. These strong sisters are the highlight of this series and I can’t wait for more from them.

Christmasly Obedient by Julia Kent
This story was really like catching up with old friends. You do not need to have read the other books to enjoy this but those definitely deserve a read as well! Mike, Jeremy and Lydia let us in on what is going on in their lives and is filled with excitement, sex, humor and romance. I loved how it centered around the holiday and found myself laughing out loud through out it. This is the feel-good book you need this winter season!

Fireproof by Leela Lou Dahlin
I know I usually read and suggest M/M stories, but every now and then I come across a heroine so amazing I can’t resist! I have always said that Dispatchers are inherently badass and Leela was inspired enough by my day job to feature a character inspired by me in her addition to K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes world! This story is super hot and has almost all the things I enjoy! Sexy, red haired firemen, erotic audio stories, and creative uses for frosting! Do I think you should read it? Of course! Not because I am involved in any way but because it celebrates a strong, older woman being worshipped in the way she deserves.

No Good by Stevie J. Cole & L.P. Lovell
This book was filled to the brim with that angsty “I love to hate you” attraction and I could not get enough of it. The tension between Bellamy and Drew throughout this story lit these pages ON FIRE!π₯π₯π₯ They are from two different worlds but it doesn’t stop them from wanting to rip each others clothes off. This is a classic bad boy meets rich girl type love but as we all know, the rich girls aren’t always the “good girls”. They both find solace in one another. An escape if you will from their troubled homes and loveless families. Their push and pull dynamic is incredibly entertaining and I honesty couldn’t wait for them to hook up! I wish I had savored this book more but I literally couldn’t put it down!

Gypsy Magic by H.P. Mallory & J.R. Rain
Poppy and Finn want a fresh start and end up in a town that offers them a little bit of magic and a whole lot of obscurity. H.P. Mallory & J.R. Rain created such a fun little world that showcases the bond of a mother and son while creating mystery and suspense. There is very little romance in this. You will see sparks between Poppy and a few of the characters, like Roy and Marty, but she is honesty not ready yet to pursue anything and wants to take it very slow. This was really a fun little book, filled with witches, potions and eccentric characters!

The Cabin by Jasinda Wilder
As if I haven’t cried enough in 2020, Jasinda Wilder just crushed me with this beautiful story. This is Nadia’s journey about trying to find her life again after the passing of her soulmate. The first half of the book was heartbreaking at times. Reading it from Adrian’s POV, knowing that he is dying and had limited time with the woman he adores was gut wrenching. My brain had a hard time even trying to process Nadia’s loss. The stages of grief are tremendous and they break her down to a shell of a person. The second part of the story is her struggle to climb out of the abyss into a world of hope and life after loss. Jasinda leaves nothing on the table with The Cabin, showing that humans are resilient even through the darkest of times.

Pretty When She Cries by A. Zavarelli
This book is like a perfect little soap opera filled to the brim with drama, suspense, angst and romance. Kailani and Landon’s relationship is anything but normal. The history that surrounds them sets the growing tension between them on fire and there are times that they really aren’t sure if they love each other or hate each other. Hell, I wasn’t even sure until the book got closer to the end. There is the underlying bully tone throughout the story which leads to some explosive encounters, both sexual and nonsexual. That and the ever-growing search for the truth kept me flipping the pages to know more. I read this in one sitting and highly recommend you do the same!

Taken at Midnight by Amelia Wilde
Kidnapping stories are always a wild ride for me. Watching the victim dance between being terrified and turned on gives such a rush, especially when you are dealing with someone as delicious as Maximus. Desiree has no idea what she is in for with him and being a virgin, she finds her body betraying her to the sensations she is feeling. He cannot control the way he desires her and what was once supposed to be an easy job has now turned into a mess of feelings. The story is paced really well, going from scary to scorching hot seamlessly and I loved the light touches of kink.

Kittyβs Witch by Roxie Harper
This was such a fun little read! I loved everything about it! The vulgar language. The quirky characters. The hysterical banter back and forth. It was witty and spicy, combining fantasy and romance in a way that kept me intrigued and excited. Serena’s grandmother was my favorite character! She is who I aspire to be when I am older, haha! The desire that is created between Serena and “Cat” will feel odd at first but as it unfolds, you will see past the eccentricity of it all and get lost in the sensual nature of their dynamic.

Seth by Brooke Baker
Brooke really knows how to pack a fiery punch into a short story! This novella checks off all of the MUST HAVES in a romance. Angst βοΈ Lust βοΈ Sex βοΈ Laughs βοΈ Marigold was such a great character. I loved how feisty she was and how she tried her hardest to deny Seth. What is meant to be will be though, right? This felt like the perfect palate cleanser in between two long books I read and I am eager to now see what the rest of the Alphas on Fire Series has in store for me!

Scrooged by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward
If you’re looking for a little something to get you into the holiday spirit, this collection of short stories from the dynamic duo of Vi and Penelope is just what you need! All three stories take place in NYC, the epicenter of Christmas, and are filled with Christmas magic and cheer! Any of these stories would make a great Hallmark Movie, chock full of romance and a little cheesy. Holiday perfection!

Tangled Wires by Lillian Lark
I was intrigued with the plot of this book the moment I read it. I mean, romance with a machine? I needed to know how that worked and Lillian Lark really painted a vivid world for me to devour. It is a super unique storyline that centers around Charlotte and Matthew and this tangled web they find themselves caught up in. I mean, there a parts during the story where you find yourself forgetting that this alpha male is a robot. Charlotte loses herself to his charm and the sexual chemistry that is created between them is as hot as it is wrong. If you don’t think sci-fi romance is your thing, I’d be willing to bet this book changes your mind.

Savored by Sophie Stern
Savored is a super cute second chance romance in which Cordelia and Cooper find themselves unable to break free of destiny. What connected them in high school still draws them together years later when Cordelia finds herself back in her hometown. Cooper is sweet and sensitive and really pursues her like a true gentleman should. There is a little bit of drama but, no good love comes easy. I really did feel bad for her at times regarding her Aunt and the bitterness she had held onto since high school but I was so happy that she was able to reach her HEA with Cooper.

Big by Jenika Snow
When I feel my erotica cravings coming on, Jenika is who I seek to get my fix. She always delivers raw, down and dirty filth that is just hard to find elsewhere. Big is filled with everything you’ve come to expect from her. Landry is completely and totally infatuated with every aspect of Beckett (Big) and the fact that she is a virgin makes her lust uncontrollable. You’ll witness her drooling over his bulging arms, strong thighs and intoxicating scent. It paints the sexiest image in your mind and by the time these two get it on there is no controlling the π₯FIREπ₯.

Faking It with the Demon by Rhiannon Hartley
This was just the story I needed to pull me out of the stress of reality these days. It is funny, lighthearted and truly silly at times. Zoe’s character as a demon turned fake girlfriend was quirky and hilarious, showing us the comical side of being a human. I loved that Ryan was totally okay with his friend summoning a demon for him ππ! I honestly was not sure what to expect when I started reading this. Not being a huge paranormal reader, I was hesitant but, I was pleasantly surprised. I felt like it hung more on the rom-com genre and that made it really enjoyable for me.

Fight Dirty by Eva Ashwood
Let me start by saying I absolutely loved Mercy. She is a strong, fierce fighter in every aspect of her life and gives bad-ass a whole new meaning. She is thrown into the path of three alpha hotties – Roy, Sloan and Levi – and the tug of war between them all is intense. One of the things I enjoyed the most was the banter between the characters. Not only does it continuously build a crazy amount of sexual tension, it keeps the storyline insanely intriguing because you aren’t ever sure where it is going. I wasn’t even upset with the tiny cliffhanger of an ending because it just means there is more to come!

Last First Kiss by Monica Walters
This was a really great book with some of the hottest sexual encounters I have read in a while. Jarius knows he wants Daraja in every way possible and his obsession to make her his is relentless. I LOVED that he was pursuing the relationship with her so hard. She was so hesitant because of issues in her past but he worked tirelessly to make her see she was worthy of real love. They have A LOT of sex and I don’t mean your average kind of sex. I mean raw, dirty, throw me up against a wall and hold me by my neck sex. They can’t keep their hands off of one another and while it leads to a few struggles, nothing can stop their explosive chemistry.

Enchanted by Tracie Delaney
Tracie Delaney has definitely hit her stride with the ROGUES series! I think it’s her best work to date. The characters have so much depth, and they bring out the strongest of feelings! I also found Belle and Upton’s story to be the hottest one yet, with so much chemistry between them. I love Belle’s spirit and strength, and Upton’s huge heart. This book has all that, and a puppy, too!!! (Really, there’s a puppy, and he may be my favorite supporting character ever.) Get started with the ROGUES today, and you will not regret it!!!

Stripped Love by Chelsea McDonald
I absolutely LOVED both Melody and Callum! It is rare for me to be obsessed with both main characters of a book but Chelsea McDonald created two amazing people in Stripped Love. Melody is a strong woman who works hard and loves harder. She is everything Callum wants and although he let her slip away once, he is determined not to make the same mistake again. Their relationship is swoon worthy. They know each other so well it truly defines “meant to be”. I love that they can get down and dirty one second and passionate and truthful the next. Together they find a way to start again and it really proves to be an all-the-feels romance!

With the Sunrise by Fiona Davenport
This was a really fun novella from Fiona’s Love Bitten series! Athan is a dreamy vampire, Selene is his fated mated, and their instant attraction and subsequent affair is super hot. The supporting characters consist of a couple of other dreamy vampires and a best friend that I loved. I also loved the ring that Athan found a century ago that foretold of his mate. That was a great touch!!! I hope to read more about these characters very soon!

The Sins Duet by Abbi Cook
This duet is engaging and provocative. Being an assassin, Alexei tries to be emotionless and cold. That is until Natalie. They could not be more opposite. She is the epitome of doe-eyed innocence and he is a killing machine. The story is a wild one, layering in twists upon twists, keeping you guessing until the end. It was definitely a different approach to a love story, tearing through family and relationships while redeeming a once scary menace of a man. The tension and danger around Natalie and Alexei is ever growing but their connection is crazy strong and won’t give up without a fight.

Happily Letter After by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward
I’m a big fan of the Keeland-Ward writing duo. Their stories are original, romantic and sexy. Happily Ever After is all about fate and if something is meant to be, it will be. Some of the “fate” in this story was a bit over the top, but the overall story is sweet and endearing. There are some hilarious mishaps that happen along the way to keep the story going and I loved the bond between Sadie and Birdie. If you’re looking for something sweet and angst-free, Happily Ever After is it!

Kiss & Control by Karina Light
Give me a broken bad boy any day of the week! Fallon is so brooding and sexy in this story. A man who is so sure of who he is and what he is capable of… until he kidnaps Eva. Talk about a match made in hell. Both tragic stories in themselves but broken can sometimes be beautiful. There is a ton of action in this story and the world Karina creates is twisted and depraved at times. She did a fantastic job creating the connection between Fallon and Eva. His desire for her is overwhelming at times, but he knows he can’t get attached or emotional. Not only would it make him vulnerable, it would most likely get him killed. The sexual chemistry between them runs hot and deep though, so it is only a matter of time before that line is crossed. And trust me when I say, when the time comes, you are begging for it to happen.

Blood Seeker by Lexi C. Foss
This next installment in Lexi C. Foss’s Immortal Curse world was absolutely worth the wait. It inspired all kinds of feelings, and took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride which left me reeling. These characters are so in depth, and so real, that I feel like I know them in real life. Watching them evolve and grow and work on unraveling the mysteries surrounding them is a very emotional experience. Lexi has this way of revealing things as the story unfolds that make you question everything you have previously believed about right and wrong, and she masterfully controls your emotions by doing so. Get lost in the Immortal Curse world today, and you will not be sorry!!!

Used By The Beast by Rebecca Howard
This story is b-a-n-a-n-a-s! There are layers of lies and desperation mixed in with Kieran and Maeve’s chemistry which proves to be tricky at times There is a lot of history between them and while Kieran has ideas in mind on how to get to Maeve’s uncle through her, his heart (and pants sidekick π) have other things in mind. But Maeve is not some innocent, little girl and both Kieran and her uncle find that out soon enough. I loved the way the author worked in their attraction throughout the book. It wasn’t in your face at all times, but definitely constantly lurking under the surface. Really looking forward to reading the others books in this series.

Dark Heart by Ella James
βLetβs never not know each other again.β Do you hear the yearning in those words? The need? The desire? Those words are heartbreaking and emotional. They beg for hope. For love. That is the story of Elise and Luca and their constant fight for the life they want together. I fell in love with both of these characters. Luca grabbed onto my heart and didn’t let go. Who knew you could get so emotionally attached to a character? Ella sends you on a rollercoaster of emotions with this book. The mafia story plays a softer role which I really enjoyed because the focus on these two characters was really able to take front and center and shine! Their chemistry is fresh and sexy, leading up to very realistic intimate scenes that you can honestly relate to. I cannot wait for the next part of this Duet!

Velvet Fire by KB Winters
What a hot, new crime family story! Virgil and Maisie’s tale is fast and furious, creating an atmosphere that is intense and exhilarating. Kidnapping leads to violence and sex and passion and before you know it, you find yourself begging for more of their story. Virgil gave me all the feels. He is that dangerous bad boy with a good heart and soul. His desire for Masie is strong and her sassiness only keeps him at arms length for so long. I really loved the characters and the banter. Donβt wait to read this one!
