  • Gallows and Ghouls by Katie May

This was a great conclusion to the trilogy. The suspense kept me reading throughout, and the ending was satisfying. The book didn’t really stay PG throughout, but it never made it to an R rating, either. The men are all, for their own reasons, super yummy, and Cami is a fun, relatable heroine. Ther is humor, and loss, and redemption. There is a lot of chemistry, even without the graphically steamy scenes, and the story was engrossing. Read this series today!

  • A Serenade of Fireflies by Yolanda Olson

This short story is EVERYTHING you expect from Yolanda and more. It is dark and gritty, diving into the depths of sexual macabre in a way that will make you question your own sanity. How can something so disturbing be so hot? I love the control George has over the entire situation with Duran. She is deranged in her own right and her obsession with Duran just unleashes her crazy fury. Yolanda always does such an amazing job of painting these grim, underground worlds where death and sexual desires mix and I love her for it!

  • Sweet Possession by Lucy Smoke and A.J. Macey

I downloaded this book as an ARC, and was checking to see if it had downloaded correctly, and sort of accidentally started reading it, and the next thing I knew I had finished it. The story grabbed onto me and wouldn’t let me go. Mare is a sassy, bratty heroine, and all three of her men are being added to my growing book boyfriend harem. The plot twists and turns and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. It’s rare that a twist in a book makes my jaw actually drop, and yet this book managed to do so more than once. Read this one today, and you will not regret it!!!

  • Entranced by Tracie Delaney

It’s not often that I am completely unable to put down a contemporary book. I often need the extra excitement of a harem, or a paranormal world, to completely hook me. But I was 100% entranced (see what I did there?) by this book. The characters drew me in and made me want to know more about them, and the story made me want to crawl inside it. Ryker is my newest book boyfriend, and Athena’s desire to prove herself resonated very strongly in me. Start this one today, and you will not be sorry!!!

  • My Favorite Souvenir by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward

What a fantastic story! Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward are a great writing duo. I’m always blown away by their books. My Favorite Souvenir is no different. The plot is unique, the characters are so lovable and real and their adventures are so much fun! I loved Milo and Maddie’s flirty relationship and their sexual tension was delicious. A few twists and the amazing epilogue make this one a must-read!

  • Guns and Graveyards by Katie May

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and I am still completely invested in the story, and cannot wait to see how it ends. I found this book moved a bit slower than the first, and focused more on the development of the characters, which I really enjoyed! The characters make this series a ton of fun, and the suspense behind the horror part of the story is a lovely contrast to the fun. It’s still low on the heat scale, and I think that may continue in the third book, but if you are willing to forego the sexy times, this book has a lot of other things going for it that will make it a fun read!

  • Gangs and Ghosts by Katie May

This was my first book by Katie May and will not be my last!!! I really wanted to stay up all night and finish the next two books, just so I could find out what was going on! The plot is intriguing and will grab you and refuse to let go. I did dock it half a star for some typos (if you read my reviews you know I am a stickler for good editing), but if you can get past that, you are in for a bunch of fun characters, and an intriguing mystery. It’s a slow burn RH story, so there isn’t much heat in this first book. Possible trigger warning for characters with anxiety and depression, but those parts were written pretty accurately, as far as I was concerned.

  • The Decadent Gift by Lauren Blakely

I’ve been waiting for Jake and Kate’s story and I was not disappointed! They have great chemistry and I love that they dove right in to the good stuff! I love the premise of this story, the characters and the heat. I thought it was a little strange that the book suddenly dove into Jake’s sister’s love life, that probably should have been a separate novella. But overall I thought this was a fun, fast read and Blakely definitely brings the hotness!!

  • Royal Bully by Rachel Van Dyken

A spin-off of one of my favorite seizes EVER has a lot to live up to, and if Royal Bully is any indication, I will NOT be disappointed! No one meshes mafia and funny and steamy like Rachel Van Dyken. Seeing my favorite characters, not only grown up, but as parents, puts a huge smile on my face. Royal Bully gives us a glimpse into the new Eagle Elite, and I might just love the kids more than their parents. #StillTeamChase

  • Birds of Paradise by Anne Malcom

The story of Lucyan and Elizabeth is a dark rabbit hole of complicated love to fall into. He is supposed to kill her but has second thoughts after watching her and becoming so enthralled with the shell of a woman she is. Her character is a very broken one and she welcomes the notion of death. Their dynamic is an odd one which is why I was so fascinated with this story. Watching it develop into what it becomes will completely captivate you. I grew to really admire and love Lucyan. His demeanor makes a shift which I think even surprised him. Anne Malcom did a fantastic job with their characters and with setting the scenes. I really loved this little messed up world she created for these two!

  • Forever by Kindle Alexander

One of my all time favorite books is Always. Avery and Kane are one of the most iconic couples in the MM genre, Forever features their son, Robert, and picks up not too long after the conclusion of the first book. This story is like the grand, sweeping family sagas that I loved growing up. We get to be a part of Robert’s life, following him as he meets Landon, the love of his life. We get to experience all their highs and lows and have the time to get absorbed in their love story. I waited for the second half of this story for six years and it was worth every day of it.

  • Boss Man Bridegroom by Meghan Quinn

Overall, I enjoyed this story. I love a good fake-engagement RomCom and I absolutely adored Rath. I love how he was all business at work, but was still that frat guy with his friends. That being said, I was not a fan of Charlee at first. I love quirky heroines, but she was way too much. Her antics were over the top and got annoying real quick. If you can look past that, this is a fun story and she really redeems herself.

  • Expressionate by Lucy Smoke

This book blew me away and left me at a loss for words. It got under my skin and will be with me for a long time. It’s a dark read, with some triggers in it. If non-consensual sex and suicide bother you then you should skip it. But if you like stories where a pair of main characters who live in the dark manage to find light in each other, then you will want to read this book. Love and Tax have super explosive chemistry, and their flaws and darkness are so well written, that their story will dig into you and refuse to let go.

  • Hot Surprise by Suzanne Hart

This story definitely delivered a hot little surprise! Karen is a grad student (who also happens to be a virgin) and Jasper is a hardworking man who can’t get out of his own way to find happiness. There is a struggle between the two of them. A lot of denying feelings. A lot of push and pull. I enjoyed the chase and the build-up of emotions and attraction. Both characters are really well developed. There is a lot of inner narrative which makes you really understand where they are coming from which makes the story flow well. I liked that I was guessing til the end. Great read!

  • Stealing Her Heart by Kaylee Spring

Sometimes you just want a quick, fun read to distract you from the real world and make you laugh. Stealing Her Heart delivers that feel-good vibe while keeping the atmosphere sexy and hot! Hailey and Robert have a fast, insta-love start that begins in an odd way but ends up being amazing for both. She brings him down to earth and grounds him in many ways and he supports her drive and tenacity. They play very well off one another and even though it is a short read, Kaylee Spring sets up a fantastic story line that keeps you entertained.

  • X Clan: The Experiment by Lexi C. Foss

This book put Elias at the very top of my book boyfriend list in record time! Watching Daciana grow out of her shell with his gentle insistence and understanding was absolutely beautiful. The way he treated her made me melt in the most delicious ways! Add to that the fact that this book is set in yet another of Lexi C. Foss’s immersive, addictive worlds, and it was utterly impossible to put down. Grab this one today, and be blown away!

  • Gridlock by Tracie Delaney

This is a really cute, fast moving hate-to-love story between Tate, a sweet teddy bear of a book boyfriend, and Madison, a spunky, scarred doctor. Their chemistry is super-hot, and their story kept me turning pages all the way through. Tragedies in each of their pasts make them lovable characters, and it’s fun to see familiar faces from Friction, the first book in the series. Read this series today, and you will not be sorry!

  • The Priest by Tiffany Reisz

Siiiiiiiggggghhhhhh. I love this series. Every book has been better than the one that came before it (except for The Saint, that’s the best book ever written). The Priest was a little different, but no less amazing. It reads more like a crime novel/mystery than erotica. Oh, don’t worry, there’s still plenty of kink, but it’s like a secondary character instead of the main plot. Reisz’s flawless writing is part of what makes this book so enjoyable. She has the gift of storytelling and you will be glued to the pages from start to finish. The pace, the wit, the heartbreak are all on point. I’m still riding the high and I’m sure I’ll have a book hangover for days to come.

  • A Night of Mercy by Messer Stone

Mercy and Parker have such a hot back and forth romance. Messer Stone does an amazing job with character development and paints vivid images of temptation and prolonged seduction. Mercy is relatable, funny and determined. Her growth in the story is entertaining and I loved her way of rising to the occasion when her back was up against the wall. Parker is hot and his delay in coming to terms with just how much he desires Mercy made him even hotter. Super impressed with this book and cannot wait to read more form the author!

  • Conveniently Convicted by Ivy Asher and Raven Kennedy

This was my first book by Ivy Asher and Raven Kennedy, and I absolutely loved it! It’s a prison romance between a pair of cockatrices – a spunky prisoner and a dirty talking, sexy prison guard. The fun characters, the humor, and the sexy times all come together to make this book a must read. The fact that the characters are cockatrices is a huge part of the fun – as their feathers and tails react to their chemistry before their brains do. It also takes place in a larger, multiple author, world of prison romance, and I am really enjoying the small moments of crossover in the stories!

  • Beg Me by Penelope Woods

Penelope Woods had me begging for more with this book! WOW! Rocco and Madison are so hot together! They begin as competitors and that trickles into their dynamic. Rocco met his match in Madison and the temptation factor creates a HOT-AS-F scenario you cannot get enough of. He brings out the naughty in her and she knows just how to work him. There is a mystery tone to the story which I loved and another level created in regard to them being together that keeps it interesting and fast moving! I highly recommend.

  • Midnight by Lexi C. Foss and Cora Kenborn

This retelling of the story of Cinderella is a captivating story with a sweet heroine who grows into herself, and a hot, arrogant, billionaire hero who grows on the reader. It’s an introduction to a new world written by Lexi C. Foss and Cora Kenborn, and I cannot wait to get more of it. Kellen is a great addition to your book boyrfriend list, and Cyn is a very relatable heroine. It’s a ton of fun to watch her grow from a doormat into a strong, independent woman. The supporting characters are a wonderful addition to the story, either leaving you loving to hate them, or wanting to know more about them. Grab this one today, and you won’t be sorry!

  • Noir Reformatory by Lexi C. Foss and J.R. Thorn

This is another immersive, captivating world built by Lexi C. Foss and J. R. Thorn. The characters are yummy, the plot will have you on the edge of your seat, and the steamy scenes are on the highest end of the hotness scale. I fell in love with the spunky heroine, Raven, and her two angel hotties, Sorin and Zian, who are equal parts annoying and swoon worthy. The story will drag you in and refuse to let you go, with suspense that will hook you. Get immersed in this world today, and you will not regret it!

  • Everyday History by Alice Archer

Normally, I enjoy books with lots of action and intrigue. I am a sucker a good military hero. But every now and then fate drops a book in your lap that is just perfect! This is the story of a museum historian and one of his former students. There are no jealous exes or super villains to contend with. Just two men trying to solve their issues and find the best paths in life. And the way that language is used is simply lush and beautiful. It is quiet, eloquent, and incredible. This is the kind of book that earns a permanent slot on your e-reader or ends up being the dog eared paperback that you turn to when you need to be reminded why you are a reader.

  • When Wishes Bleed by Casey L. Bond

This was an adorably sweet YA forbidden love book, with magic, a witch partially controlled by Fate, a prince, and a suspenseful plot that kept me on the edge of my seat. There was very little heat – I would probably let my high school kids read this one, and yet, the characters drew me into their world, and the book was impossible to put down! Taurin is a heart warming prince, with a soft spot for sick kids and beautiful witches. Sable really blossomed as she found and embraced her fate, and the supporting characters were a lot of fun, too (although I occasionally wanted to strangle Brecan.) Read this one today, and you won’t be sorry!

  • Midnight Fae Academy by Lexi C. Foss

When I read Lexi C. Foss’s Elemental Fae Academy, I got a brief glimpse of the heroine from this story, Aflora, and I wasn’t all that impressed with her. However, now that this book has shown me more of her, she has become one of my favorite characters of all time. Her naivety, shown by her adorably tame curse words when she is frustrated, is covering up a strength that even she doesn’t know exists yet. And watching her grow is a wonderfully fun ride for the reader. Kols, Shade, and Zeph are amazing additions to any reader’s book boyfriend collection, each with their own quirks and endearing qualities, and the world of the Midnight Fae is enticing and intoxicating. Read this one today, and you won’t be sorry. (Although I need to put in the standard warning that it ends with a bit of a cliffie, so if you don’t like those then you may want to wait to read until closer to June, when book two comes out.)

  • Nothing Special VII: EX Meridian by AE Via

The Nothing Special series is one of my all time favorites. Atlanta PD Lieutenants God and Day just ooze sexy alpha goodness from the page. Along with their elite task force, they have kicked ass through the Atlanta underworld for six books. But what happens when someone even more dangerous shows up in their city with a score to settle? Ex, a trained assassin, and his partner Meridan are a new breed of alpha. Watching them take apart the city looking for justice and falling in love was mesmerizing. And when these men who have been taught to suppress their emotions let loose the results are explosive!

  • Crowne of Lies by CD Reiss

GAH! I love every detail about this book. Free-spirited, tattooed and pierced Ella and all-business, workaholic Logan have the chemistry needed to pull off a fake marriage. And, as with most fake marriage stories, the sexual tension ridiculous. I knew from the beginning that these two wouldn’t be able to keep their hands off each other, and saying “it means nothing” meant nothing. CD Reiss has a gift for writing characters that stay with you long after the you finish the book, Logan and Ella will forever be favorites. No other author writes family sagas as well as she does, and I can’t wait to find out about the rest of the Crowne family. Crowne of Lies is a sexy and emotional, unputdownable epic love story and I can’t wait to follow up with Logan and Ella in future books.

  • Jace’s Pet by Nicole Trinity

This is one of those books where you aren’t sure how you feel because you love it but don’t know if you are supposed to love it. It is dark, focusing on the kidnapping of Rose and what she is forced to endure while being held against her will. Jace is infatuated with her and she can’t help but succumb under his spell. You read it knowing it is wrong because he is so dominant with her, but you can tell he just cannot get enough for her and wants her on a deeper level than just sexually. I want more!

  • Finding Him by Rachel Van Dyken

Bring the tissues! I was so ready to hate Julian since he was such an ass when we met him in the first book. I know he had good reason to be grumpy, but I couldn’t feel sorry for him. Welp, he totally stole my heart!! The story here is beautiful, the way Julian and Keaton fall in love is perfect. Even though parts of the story are absolutely heart-breaking, I loved every word of it. Rachel Van Dyken does an amazing job of weaving the sad, funny and sexy to give us an epic love story.
